Madagascar is an oil importer and and the country needs this oil. Now MOIL will be able to produce all of Madagascars oil. Vital for the economy.

Squire,

Keya, put me on their after he tipped me a PANR at around 20p went over £1 very soon. Very very low cost oil producer with tonnes of oil already producing. The article last month suggests news anyday. Massively undervalued.

They hold any larger trades back for awhile, MOIL is totally under the radar for most investors and traders. Fact is we are at the end of the waiting now. 1.7 Billion barrels and once we get the Environmental Consent we can extract immediately. I think this has far more return to it than PANR because it has lain dormant for so many years whilst the real work has been going on.

Doesn't appear to be a great deal of stock around and a very small buy for 14K went through at 3.9998p

Break away from 4p should attract some attention.

the free float is tiny, we have just the few main shareholders who have put millions into this to get us here but there have been virtually no trading, EK has two million so he said on his blog, 'family shares' he calls them. Not bad.

I notice the free float here is pretty small, Squire. any positive news should see a nice move up.

Todays tick up was on a relatively small purchase.

A very nice company to read about though because though they have the odd overrun timing wise, they have actually come up with the goods every time. I remember when every one thought they wouldnt get the licence, they did, then folks said they would not do the steam flood successfully but they did and then there were people knocking their fundraising but they got it every time. Now we have production right in front of us....no doubt we will get the doomsters again, but it will happen, certainly with the political backing this company has.

Apart from a little volume every so often Squire, share price activity is pretty dead.

Below from the last results, Symbion are huge and a tie in price, between them and MOIL, for say 5 years, would i think get between 50 - 60 dollars plus. Then they are free to concentrate on selling extra production to others as it comes on stream in 24 months from now. We are now at the verge of seeing the agreements signed. I feel Total or Symbian will be involved, with a good chance of both. Symbian have chosen their flagship generator site as close as they can get to MOIL oil. C0-incidence?

Last report.

The power sector is a significant potential market for Tsimiroro crude, and we were encouraged by the recent announcement from USA based electricity provider Symbion Power that it has signed an agreement with the Malagasy national utility provider, Jirama, whereby Symbion Power will rehabilitate and operate the Mandroseza power plant in Antananarivo at its full capacity for 20 years. Symbion Power also entered into a Protocol D'Accord directly with the President of the Republic of Madagascar to develop seven new power plants in country including a potential Tsimiroro field based power station, utilising heavy fuel oil, biomass and solar as primary fuel sources. We have commenced discussions with Jirama and Symbion Power over the provision of Tsimiroro oil as fuel for the generation of the power plants and the Board is pleased with the progress made to date.

The project is not economic at these prices if they were to sell to an outside market. You really need to read up to understand the position MOIL holds in Madagascar. The play here is for the agreement they can now sign once they get the environmental licence.

Basically its a country with no economic development likely as it has to import all its oil. However MOIL has these utterly huge reserves available to the country from only a couple of hundred feet down. The Americans are bringing in massive generating capacity and MOIL can supply them with oil direct cutting it with 15% diesel.

Over ten years or so MOIL have spent 300 million developing these fields, they have run pilots and extract oil for years now.

Once they get finance, and the environmental licence was the last hold up, they can start the oil flowing immediately. They also have huge acreage offshore and this area is not far from another offshore site currently being drilled by Total.

Basically this has been trashed so far the market has entirely lost sight of the massive oil reserves held and the even larger potential yet to be found.

Its currently priced at 30 million or something quite absurd.

as an ex s/holder who attended an AGM i recall the BoD's told me that as their oil is heavy oil they get approx 25% less than the normal wti price - so now around $20 - so don;t discount this important factor

to be honest SCAP with its 2p spread isn't really in the game. So really just 4 MMs in the game.

When volumes push higher this will move sharply

john henry

swerves as there are only 5MMs with 1p spreads. At these low prices you will always get a high % visual spread.

I think when you see the BID pushes up to 3.5p buyers will move in.
