jh ive sat and read all the rns from moil from inception pre christams b4 i got in.

they drilled numerous wells...got 130k boo stored...it is heavy oil..but they have build i believe village/school etc etc...the plan is going to be a 25 year if not longer production which is a lifetime...

read back on the funding rns and you will see the major holders have continually provided the cash for working capital etc etc...placings done at multiples of current levels...

obviously if t trading and cant hold then may get in trouble but squire is right we are waiting final permit...ps the price of oil is going to turn this year is my bet...but my timeline here is let us start to supply the generation board....this si one to hold and i can see this being worth £1 a share...they have i think a silly number of 2.5bill boo...plus that isnt including their offshore assets.:)_

The Company can confirm that the Partner Process is continuing, but it has yet to yield any actionable proposals. There are a number of discussions ongoing, but it will take time to confirm whether any of these discussions can be converted into an executable deal and there is no guarantee that any of them will be consummated this quarter, as previously announced, if at all.

IF AT ALL sounds pretty down beat to me.

You have to ask yourself why the negative tone,

Still, that bounce up into the close shows that it's only a bit of froth that's come off it, there's still a lot of core holders who are pretty sure this will be well north of here in due course.

i must admit i was rather disappointed with the tone of the RNS.

Unfortunately the rumour was pretty wide of the mark.

would appear all the stock bought this morning was dumped this afternoon.

Almost 50% more sells today than buys. MMs should have plenty of stock.

And back to the start line.

As someone said earlier a lot of punters sucked in and then dumped stock.

All goes to show when positive news and demand hits this will rocket

Update on Partner Process and discussions with Lenders

The Company notes both the recent rise in the price of its ordinary shares, particularly over the course of today, and the speculation on the bulletin boards with regard to the Partner Process (the "Partner Process"), being the previously announced process to identify potential strategic partner(s) to work with the Company on the development and funding of the world class Tsimiroro field.

The Company can also confirm that it remains in discussions with its Lenders, being entities associated with the Company's four major shareholders (Outrider Master Fund, LP, BMK Resources Ltd, SEP African Ventures Limited and The John Paul Dejoria Family Trust LLC), who provided the Bridge Financing Facility (as announced on 29 September 2015) with regard to the release of all, some or none of the second tranche of US$8.0 million of that Facility. There can be no certainty as to the outcome of these discussions.

Further announcements will be made as and when appropriate.

Terms used in this announcement have the same meaning as in the Company's announcement of 29 September 2015.

Peeps just dont get this share.

The Company has exploration and development rights for oil and gas in Madagascar, and the Company’s two principal fields include Tsimiroro and Bemolanga. Block 3104 Tsimiroro is approximately 125km from the west coast of Madagascar. Block 3102 Bemolanga is located approximately 170 km from the west coast of Madagascar.

The Company has 100% interest in Tsimiroro Block 3104. Madagascar Oil also has 100% interest in Blocks 3105, 3106 and 3107. The Company’s exploration projects include Manambolo Block 3105, Morondava Block 3106 and Manandaza Block 3107. The Company has a wholly owned subsidiary, Madagascar Oil S.A.

The Company is developing a promising portfolio of onshore blocks in a region of growing prospectivity. Madagascar Oil is Madagascar’s leading and longest operating oil and gas company. It operates the four onshore blocks at 100% with its non-operating block at 40% with super major, Total. The Company is the first in the country to advance to the upstream oil and gas development phase.

I feel that the tie in with Total, the tie in with Symbion and the pretty amazing effect this oil is going to have on over 20 million resident people on the island will bring this to the £ 2 plus mark in three years. However NOTHING 'SEEMS' to have been happening to MOIL for years. Thought they have got to the stage of storing the damn stuff, investors still think MOIL is an explorer. Dont ask why but they clearly dont get it yet,

1 The massive reserves found inland.
2 The huge areas offshore being currently operated by Total.
3 The pretty massive lease areas MOIL has yet to examine.
4 The customer base in Madagascar, 20 million, currently relying on imports.
5 Symbion as a customer, already with its generating capacities Govt sanctioned.

The environmental licence is the stumbling block for the investors currently looking at MOILs data base. When this is given shortly i suggest there wont be much more stumbling.

Im holding for the deal to be announced, 300 million spent and Madaascar is an importer of oil. This is crucial for the local economy.
