9/3/22 trades ranged from 41.65 to 42
1/9/22 trades range from 51.1252 to 52.975

nearer 25% than 50%, surely?

No, none of them is perfect, but none that I know fits your description.

The value here lies in the eventual liquidation. In the meantime I'd like the share price as low as possible in case I decide to buy some more. Either that or rise to say 10% discount to NAV, that would be ideal for an early exit. Rising to 50p does me no good.

I'm pleased to see Hargreaves Lansdown have restarted allowing their clients to buy MPO. I noted they had stopped a couple of months ago (post 819). Not that I'm planning to buy any, but it's really annoying when you do decide to, and log in, and the broker just shows you the finger. Especially when it's in an ISA or SIPP and you can't easily move the money to a competent broker.

The KID was always on the MPO website.

Well they did say that the completion of sale of the two remaining units at The Waterside development would be before end of August. Today's RNS confirms that has indeed happened.

Latest NAV info released this sunny morn. It has declined 8.7% (1.0% in Sterling terms) from the previous quarter - now at 138 pence per share.

Looks like they will milk this cow as long as they can. Sell a few at whatever price just to keep the company float and their fat fee paid, nothing for the shareholder.

4 down, 55 to go. If they can do 2 per month it will only take a little over 2 years.

I've been a little nervous about loan to value covenants, I'm happy for the debt to be reduced first. I'm resigned to waiting for the end game and don't expect much pleasure on the journey.

Not if they used it all for "debt reduction & working capital" - surely shareholders deserve throwing a bone?

If they sold everything at 6.8% discount we'd still more than double our money from here.

This Trust owns residential properties. It's not hard to sell residential property anywhere in the world as long as you price them at the market price. The fact that it's taking a lifetime to sell these properties is because the directors don't want the gravy train of large salaries and bonuses to stop. They want to line their pockets and suck as much wealth as possible out of the company.

Now Hargreaves Lansdown are refusing purchase orders because

Important - By law certain stocks must have a Key Investor Information Document / Key Information Document available before investors can purchase them. The party responsible for publishing the documents have not made them available to Hargreaves Lansdown for this stock and so it cannot be purchased. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Halifax and its fronts (Lloyds, iWeb) have been doing this for a few years. IG is still allowing trades.

All depends on China developments surely - and not sure I'd trust Xi any more than Putin.

MPO had both hands tied behind their backs for a while (but fortunately not in a detention centre).
