Thanks for that TP. The prospects do look fantastic, and at 3p a share the risk is really quite low; I'm not going to lose an excessive amount should the technology fail to reap the results hoped for.

You have to consider barriers to entry (limited given the market cap) and any royalties they may earn from any IPR, but I too suspect we will get taken out at a price way below the ultimate long term value. Still, a profit is a profit, and if it goes for say 30p, then I'll not complain!

I see this share as a slightly iffy roman candle it could fizz to 5p or fizzle out to nothing .[in its defence they have made a small model that worked].
But if the system works and becomes widely used it could have a long and bright future ,. The danger is it might get taken out before it has chance to multibag .

CK this is from the rns on 8 May:

"We are delighted with our progress in terms of the manufacture and development
of the LRUs, as well as the performance of the LRUs on the exploration
processing plant.

Obviously large scale running is what we are interested in. I would hope we would get some feedback this month

It does, but its not gathering the interest because it seems to be stuck on 9% up on the leader board rather than 23 % up. I think it could move quite quickly once folks notice

This company looks set to go far; I'm realy excited about it! People who have invested in these small companies before - how long is it usually between the beginning of production and the release of a statement announcing yields?

eventually joined in here with a couple of smaller buys @ 3.25p. I should of taken note of Steve earlier and had a few more shares for my money, but hey ho.....

Could possibly go on a bit of a run. Just nicked a few shares here.

It seems to move on every buy.

Very interesting technology. The one thing that always worries me in diamond operations is the fraud angle which they seem to have craked with the technology here.

imho

Can't get any online - call your broker - stock is about, though just ticked up to 3.5 as I was typing.

Might this be the rally back to something sensible prior to the actual numbers. Would hope for at least 5p now the delays are over, then anything from 0p if it turns out to be all hype, to 25-30p if it all works wonders.

Not long to find out now.

They don't have any stock and, apparantly are very wary this could 'catch people's imagination' etc with a bit of press coverage. Easy to see why!

From today's MARKET REPORT - by Geoff Foster (Daily Mail)

Buyers dug into bombed-out DiamondTech, 0.3p dearer at just over 2p. The company, which has developed laser technology that can find diamonds in tons of gravel, said that the final phase for its large-scale plant at Grasfontein has been completed after power outages in South Africa, and production has finally begun. The market now awaits what exactly the plant yields, but shareholders should not be disapointed.
Good luck all.

What was a little disappointing now we are fully operational, is a lack of any guidance as to when we might be updated with some hard facts and figures about operational success, and any newly predicted cashflows. Potentially very exciting times, but being in at these levels will always carry a risk of total capitulation.

Good to see the plant up and running,I,ve emailed Julian Moore to find out if they are running it using generators as that will make the plant independant
from the electricity outages.
As has already been said if the plant works as planned at full capacity we could see a serious rerating of the SP,Thats basically the risk here and having
1 million shares I,m backing it to succeed but as always time will tell.

Thanks chaps.

I've put it on my monitor but i'm relucatant to buy anything in
this market unless it's a day trade.

L2 good good though 4 v 1 and next offer 3.25p so it might rally again.

On the plus side, we now have a real chance to see some proper value generation for the shareholders.

On the downside, delays will have caused additional costs, and we reamin in the dark about just how the cost model compares with traditional methods, and whether the economics are as good (or as some of us thik, better) than originally forecast.

Diamond prices have helped, and there is still an international shortage, so a good industry to be in.

I have a small long position, as i see it as potentially massive, but certainly not without risk.

I am not an expert just a punter 8trader but the first hurdle was to get the plant up and running .
Next we see if it can do what it says on the tin,ie sort diamonds faster, sort smaller diamonds and do that economically.[this appears to have been done on the pilot plant ]
Then we invite all and sundry to see the new wonder plant .
Finally we start a process similar to that of goldplat ,making money out of other peoples throw aways .
This can be by JV,s or selling the LRU units .
As to value a lot of people thought the original offering good value at 11p?
what its worth now I leave you to guess but with the plant working ??

The proof will be if and when the production bears fruit. It is a joint venture because it is new technology, so if the recovery rates don't come up to expectations, it is game-over.

What's would a mining expert consider the usual/fair market cap of
a company that has gone into production ?

To be expected ,nice tree shake after the rise .
The main thing is the plant is working, presumably earning revenue, and the most probable direction now is up .
