30/6/2015 13:26 | fwiw I've bought at least 5 lots of LXB over the last month and not one trade has been reported on the advfn feed. I would ignore the noise and focus on the fundamentals here. | ![]() mad foetus

28/6/2015 20:23 | I could be making an absolutely outrageous call, but I think given what we know about Henderson, with 9m shares left and the volume post dividend of approx 14m (accounting for noise and other sellers) - with 7.5m on Thursday and the iceberg orders getting filled, we may see a little reprieve in the selling recently. | hisnameisollie

26/6/2015 15:46 | Great fun watching the Trades again today - perhaps I should get out more! eeza - you're bang on at 32c - but feels a whole lot hotter working in the garden - must be mad. Pool not a lot of help as it's 31c in there today! Think I'll leave the cover off to cool it down... I'm sure there are all sorts of variations on price action post the final exit of a tap. The one I loved was that following the departure of Lloyds from propco SREI - bizarrely sold down to a 10%yld & 40% NAV discount - just 3 years ago. Sp pretty promptly jumped 22%...see below Are you over here in France as well? free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ![]() skyship
26/6/2015 15:36 | eeza, All agreed, and you have to have conviction in your story. In this case, it is immaterial what happens in the short-term, as we know what the end goal is...and have a good idea what the result might be. Importantly we have the catalyst for it to happen. | ![]() tiltonboy
26/6/2015 15:16 | So true Eeza but he makes his servants sweat | ![]() badtime
26/6/2015 14:53 | He'll be in the pool at the moment - 32'. What I have seen quite a few times over the years is - when a large seller gets tapped out, & finally exits, & you would then expect the share price to surge ahead, it doesn't. There is a sort of eery calm because the seller has exhausted the buyers - and now everyone is left looking at each other. New buyers are reluctant to enter in case the selling re-starts, and it takes a little time to re-establish confidence. | ![]() eeza
26/6/2015 14:43 | eeza, SKYSHIP knows that, it's just that he starts on the vino early on a Friday. Don't forget they are an hour ahead of us! A buyer came in and hit the iceberg sell order, and left them bid. I had just started an order a tad lower, so it didnt help my order. Let's see if the seller re-loads, or is done for the day/week/month. | ![]() tiltonboy
26/6/2015 14:39 | Sky - they were AT trades - so both buys & sells. | ![]() eeza
26/6/2015 14:33 | My complex personal life means I can't trade atm but if the price holds I'm going to take a knock at Henderson later on. | ![]() mad foetus
26/6/2015 14:28 | Strewth - 400k in AT trades @ 14:21 - all at 87.5p. tilts - were those buys or sells? Looks like a great battle going on between Henderson Global Investors (hereinafter to be referred to as "The Losers") and Tiltonboy - always a Winner! So, rooting for you lad...clean them out!!! | ![]() skyship
26/6/2015 13:49 | eeza, I would tend to agree with you. Frankly, I'm surprised after yesterday's announcements, that it hasnt attracted more buyers! | ![]() tiltonboy
26/6/2015 13:39 | Thanks eeza, sorted | hisnameisollie
26/6/2015 13:22 | hisnameisollie - you need to change some of the letters in 'hxxp' to Capitals - e.g HTTps or hTTps to get past ADVFN police. @ Sky - my earlier comment related to the fact that the large seller is forcing the price ever lower in trying to clear his position. Whilst it is the case that every Buy has a corresponding Sell - it is the seller that is setting the price - ever lower. I noted in earlier posts that I believed the seller to be Henderson & that they were taking their position to Zero. | ![]() eeza
26/6/2015 12:44 | It still feels like forced selling to me. Henderson sold a large portion of their shares recently on the 7th Apr: The report they released in Q1 2015: And also in March: ...both point the finger at LXB as under performing their benchmarks in recent times vs other investments and precede their sale. If you look through their website the sales side is all about NPV vs share price and benchmarks (for particular value portfolios). I think it's likely they're the seller or another institution that has similar methods of determining benchmark value. These funds want to attract investors and past performance is one of the indicators that most prospective clients look out for. I doubt these managers are really taking into full account the potential NAV that's unrealised and are more concerned with benchmarks and the potential to raise more funds. | hisnameisollie |
