You’d be forgiven for coming to the conclusion that these were only previously going up with a Twitter account behind them

Amazed this one hasn’t fallen off a Cliff yet. Illiquid stocks with forward PEs of 11s etc are not gonna cut it right now

Following the AGM, we have contacted the major shareholders who had not supported the Resolution to understand the reasons for their vote against the proposal and to continue a transparent and constructive dialogue on this topic. The Board will continue to engage as appropriate with those shareholders regarding their views in this area.

The Board continues to consider that the ability for the Company to buy back shares is in the best interests of all shareholders, particularly in light of the current share price levels, which presents an opportunity to generate attractive returns for all shareholders through allocating capital to buying back ordinary shares.

Let’s hope you’re right, i guess you are right cos the profit warning at XPP was several trading days ago and theres been no impact 💪

XPP is quite a sad story really, but the recent additional bad news for them is related to industrial demand from China and then an ensuing covenant breach. I am not sure that those issues translate well to here?

LUCE is more about demand from RMI, housing, EV charging, construction etc. and definitely not any of those Asian woes or debt issues. Sentiment of course is a funny thing so Mr Market can react differently to Mr Logic. (I try to be the latter but like all of us I am not always succesful at this).

I guess there's two ways of looking at the call. Markets were described as weak (which we all knew about) but at the same time they stated 1m more adj. Profit over top range of forecasts - nearly 10%.So the company are doing better than forecasts in a weak market and they stated they have taken some more market share over last year. Bodes very well for when their markets recover I'd suggest considering the currently low rating.

LIBERUM
Shares attractive as returns can improve significantly The shares look attractive to us, trading on around 11x 2024E PER and a free cash flow yield of around 9% (2024E). Luceco continues to be a strong leader in its industry and the scale of its own facilities in China is very hard to replicate. It continues to have scope for further acquisitions in adjacent products, like the recent purchase of SyncEV, enabling Luceco to take an indemand product and offer it through its existing distribution channels. We maintain our 155p target price, and our Buy rating, as we price in the higher margins in our model. 155p per share is based on 1.2x EV/Sales (2024E), which discounts an operating margin of 12%. This level looks achievable to us, given that Luceco should be able to improve margins beyond this level. The shares trade on under 7x peak earnings.
