I think if you follow the peaks on the chart the next test is getting on for 56p or so - wouldn't be expensive there imo, can eve see 60p on the chart possibly, but we'll see.

So why are these trading like they were going to miss then?

Near 20% growth for the coming year, near 4% yield and a PE of about 8 for a co that has some real specialist products.

Look too cheap to me anyway.

As a consequence we now expect sales growth to exceed 10% for the 2010 financial year and that full year profits before tax will be at the upper end of market expectations.

They do give a trading update around this time...historically there was a trading update on 10/12/09 and 27/11/08.
Having said that theres nothing on the websites financial calendar...but if it is to come it will be anytime now.

Well they had a 'pre-close trading statement' last year on Dec 10, I'd have thought they would have one this year too.

Directors were buying about a month ago - I presume that's because they don't want to be buying right before a trading statement and were leaving a month period in advance of that.

I think it just needs them to say they are inline on this valuation.

The co year ended Nov 30 so the current year forecasts are now for 5.3p eps - PE of just 8 for an ISAble and a near 4% yield for the coming year.

That looks cheap to me, if they are ahead of that they are screaming cheap I'd have thought.

Why do you expect a trading statement ? They don't normally put one out do they, or have they said they will? I wasn't necessarily expecting anything until the prelims in February. Would be good to get some news before then because this type of stock seems to be becalmed without newsflow !!!

chart actually broke through that downtrend resistance today if you look at those recent declining highs - on th move from tomorrow imo - perhaps the trading statement is tomorrow - doesn't have to be Friday.

Yeh...a good forward looking statement and some further debt reduction could see us at the 50p level once again!
