Dunno re the debt - capital expenditure is planned to be higher in H2 and if debt is down more then that will be some going but quite possible imo.

Trading statement was on the 10th last year.

Any estimates on the current net debt position? In the half year report to end May they reported a net debt position of GBP67.4m which was a significant improvement (30M) improvement on the last report. Is this rate of debt reduction likely to continue?

yep, got to make a profit before you thank anyone but the omens look good imo.

Trading statement within a week or two, directors buying and on a screamingly low valuation and the chart right on the buy trendline at the moment so I cannot see why this isn't a cracking buying point myself and I've been adding too.

We'll see soon.

Agree. Certainly from a technical perspective if history repeated itself 60+ is quite realisitic.

ok, OXIG - I just need to be able to value it to buy it and when I try to value it it looks quite pricey - but agree - it can still go up.

LWB feels like it's readying itself to do another one of those big steep rallies - the trading statement will be the catalyst if it doesn't fly before imo.

Firm today and in a market like this we might see the big buyers out in a number of these stocks imo.

No OXIG for me Bluebelle - the rating always lookas a bit too rich.

Buyers in LWB today tho - can only be time before these fly surely, worth 60p+ imo and it's only some numbskull seller that's stopped them getting there imo.

Must admit I find the recent share price weakness surprising, but then that's often the way with low profile small caps - surge of interest at the time of any announcement then loss of interest until the next one. Unless the TS shows anything different I think this is a good well managed company with some pretty strong fundamentals and good growth prospects.


Edit : See you're in AVON also, CR : any OXIG ? Sort of stock which I would have thought would appeal to you !

By the way, Edison's forecasts for this year are now 5.1p eps and 5.8p for 2011.

They are forecasting 1.5p divi this year and 1.6p in 2011.

If they only meet this years forecasts then the fwd PE under 8 and the 3.5%+ divi looks very cheap imo.

Recent director buys - a month before a trading statement.

Martin Flowers 20K buy @ 45.7p
Chris Littmoden 45K buy @ 47p
Martin Flowers 50K buy @ 47.66p

Directors were buying in April and May this year - a month before a trading statement which said they were ahead.

Clegg 31K buy @ 31p
Flowers 125K buy @ 34p

Looks sort of positive for the trading update due Dec 10 if the same as last year imo.

They can't stop buying - looking good for the t/s at the end of the month imo.
