10/5/2021 16:55 | Well spotted flysisher. I called them up earlier to ask about this. I've just spoken to their IR person. Apparently they noticed that some of the positions in their own cosec shareholdings were not consistent with advices received from significant shareholders. They then found that an old email address was in circulation and have found two notifiable shareholdings that haven't been declared to the market. This Aberforth one from 2019 and another (to be announced imminently) from more recently. I think she said late 2020. Anyhow, a bit embarrassing, but they seem to have sorted it now. I'm not going to tweet this or otherwise publicise it as if people don't read it carefully they will assume major buying going on which will only help the share price As we didn't get the boost back when it happened, happy to take it now. Cheers | tigletpiglet

05/5/2021 10:33 | SMMT Commentary on todays April figures: "there is light at the end of the tunnel. A full recovery for the sector is still some way off, but with showrooms open and consumers able to test drive the latest, cleanest models, the industry can begin to rebuild. Market confidence is improving". I'd guess there's quite a bit of pent up demand for new cars, but there are concerns over the supply chains from manufacturers, not least the semiconductor shortages which have resulted in several factories pausing production. | mortimer7
05/5/2021 10:18 | does anyone have a specific date for the forthcming update please! | ali47fish |
