WOBBLY123 is a 🤡🤡🤡 It is more important to read the below rather than read his posts and his other posts under different names.👀€064;🤣

The company has net debt of £57m as of end of May

The Group continues to enjoy the benefits of a strong property portfolio with an adjusted net book value of GBP325m (as at 31 December 2019) (83.3p per share).

In your world a facility may be in a bank account but here on earth it isn't.

Ironic you use a clown symbol, is your PC a mirror by any chance ?

That has been inevitable for some time, question is

1) After an Insolvency ?
2) At what price ?
3) Will potential buyers wish to buy or wait to buy from the Insolvency practitioner should that happen ?

The car dealer acquisition vultures are circling troubled dealer group Lookers and it's only a matter of time before they're swallowed up.That's the view of leading automotive industry analyst Mike Allen, from Zeus Capital, who believes once Lookers reveals how bad its situation really is, the acquisitive groups will start to swoop.

Bears know that the so called bounce won't last long.

If as you say you monitor this stock you will have seen the bears didn't start posting when the share price dived earlier this week.

The bears suddenly gone quiet with the bounce?

I don't hold got no position but did hold years ago.

Have just got the share on my monitor as a matter of pure interest.

Yes looks like a perfect storm of problems.

Our local site is always busy particularly the servicing side and always give good service.

I also wonder if we might finally see a bigger shift to online sales in the car industry which has so far failed to be as major as it is in other areas of retail probably because of the need to visit dealers for servicing/test drives ect.

I cautioned here over a couple of years on how Lookers appeared
to be run under the last CEO. The raft of acquisitions at what looked
full prices, coupled with the disposal of their longstanding parts division.

A sad state of affair for a once solid, all be it cyclical, business.

Hopefully something can still be salvaged for share holders
and a workable recovery plan executed on.
Outside possibility of corporate action?, stress on outside possibility.

The audit resignation was a big worry for me as well. In my experience this is the Board in defence mode and blaming the auditors for not picking up on the error. Which in turn says it may be material but what do I know! It's held steady after the drop this morning.

Nick Rubens,

Agree with you, holding lookers or buying them is pure gambling not investing.

Can't see an positives for them and didn't Oct 19 when I added them to my shorts.

Whatever the outcome, this latest announcement doesn't sound good at all IMO. Takes some guts and gambling instinct to be buying now ahead of such great uncertainty.

I can't understand why auditors would want to get rid of a client. Something must be clashing behind the scenes and the going concern statement comes to mind. I may be over reacting but I don't trust any of my share holdings even when they claim to be reporting profits and focusing on shareholder value etc.

Any bulls out there to encourage me? Hope I'm completely wrong and flapping over potentially nothing catastrophic.

It seems somebody has failed in their duties...and Deloitte wants to wash their hands off asap...having read the RNS the indication is shares will be suspended...is it currently creating a false market...

The Company further announced that the Grant Thornton investigation was nearing its completion and that a draft of the Grant Thornton report (the "Draft Report") had been shared with the Company's auditors, Deloitte LLP, for review in the context of their audit opinion.

"Wouldn't be insider dealing as he would have done his cash wouldn't he?"

Suppose the fraud amounted to very little money, and the accounts were little affected then the accounts were the written off and the share price spiked up?

Suspicions would then be raised.

But I think you are making too much of the trade myself.

£3k trade, petty cash.

Wouldn't be insider dealing as he would have done his cash wouldn't he?

Do you think he only bought £3k so it didn't look like insider dealing ?

Lookers are heading south as they did today.

A loss is a loss even if not taken by holding onto a loser.

Hardest part of trading 1) Cutting losses 2) Let win's run.

No but it all depends how you look at it. If he had bought a very large amount and the fraud less than the market thinks some would have suspicions of insider dealing, so I wouldn't make much of the director share trade.

Doesn't matter a £3k purchase doesn't show confidence does it.

debsowner,

So what was the 6,559 Director buy in February a mere £3k purchase. If any confidence why not but more?

Of course as I said earlier a lot of people think they know more than they do which is great for short sellers and people wanting to offload whilst the shares have any value.

debsdowner your earlier mistake hasn't been corrected.

KEEP BUYING GUYS, THEY MAY RISE AGAIN BEFORE FALLING OFF A CLIFF
