20/11/2015 07:50 | Agree - I think LON may drop to ZAR 25c range and LONN to 4c | chrisbr777
20/11/2015 07:45 | Seems too high to me....... I suspect that trading here will be at a lower level. | graham2405

20/11/2015 04:57 | Graham, did you see Magara's media sound bite yesterday "to be at least cash flow neutral after capx, at current spot prices". That's the Business Plan they've put on the table. They'll cut their cloth accordingly to fit. Current spot prices are what, $850 Oz? | elvisrocks
20/11/2015 04:40 | Graham / Lazy The point I was making about big shareholder, when they sat opposite the Chairman and / or Magara they didn't say "here's our cheque, thanks for robbing us for the third time". They made clear their expectations, they can't receive a dividend in the immediate future (and even if they did the market would discount it as a p..s take) but they can other things. If Magara is an Ops man, arguably the Chairman's No. 1 function is the interface with shareholders. Rene Hochrieter has said they don't really need (all) this money and they've put themselves in a stronger position compared to their peers in an industry where demand for the product won't disappear. | elvisrocks |
