Everyone has bad investments Mr NT, you might cut your loses early, but you must miss out on many multi baggers. If I had stop losses on GAN, RNWH, VLX, Kitw, etc etc I wouldn't have made big gains on them, because they all dropped 20% plus before they jumped up substantiallly. So sometimes your way works and sometimes it doesn't. And also with having a big following you have an advantage over us, as others follow into companies, so you get halfway up the ladder from the start..

Anyway I've got no chance of a special cuddle tonight, unfortunately my Mrs still works full-time and will no doubt be knackered, unlike like me a full time investor.


Interesting to see you been to India. I went over 20 years ago, loved it, especially visiting the Taj mahal.

Been intouch with the VLX management. Alot of folks panicking over destocking issues that some companies have announced like XPP, have recently experienced, and now folks are panicking that it could happen to VLX. Instead of panicking all they have to do is get intouch with the company and will confirm in a carefully worded email they aren't any issues...

So many nervous panicky folks around at the moment. Any issues i get intouch with the company rather than listen to BB rumours...

FYI the quote on NICL was NOT made-up by me i simply read it on the advfn NICL bb. The poster greenhat2 if you want to go over there and have a pop at, who's now got me into trouble Lol..

Well, this is really easy. Let me have your email address and I'll send you screenshots of say, the last 15 trades. If I can prove those, you send £100 to my favourite charity, if I can't, I'll send £100 to yours. I'll also send you screenshots of tax free investments (isas etc) of over £2.3 million and cash of over £1m. I make a lot of the trades live anyway in front of audiences and they all get to see my live accounts and all holdings.

I simply do not believe your trades you publish, not a single god-damn word, and i am not the only one who has questioned that in the past. I also question your apparent success in the markets. Oh, and at least i do admit to my losers.
You have to realise that if you put yourself in the public arena then not everyone will agree or approve of you and what you do..

I got a mail asking me how I knew there were buyers coming into Nichols ahead of results. I said "what, I never wrote that". He said but it said you did on this "serious investors" forum.

I see you spend a lot of time "having a go" at me and how "fake" I am, which is your opinion so carry on filling your boots. Keyboard warriors hiding behind usernames will always do this. It's fine, and no-one reads this board anyhow apart from your one mate.

However, aren't you the fake? You made up a quote I never said. All I said was I'd bought a small starter position which was risky ahead of results. I got 300 shares at 974 using IG's DMA.

So all I ask is for an apology for you putting out a fake quote. Then carry on with your nasty little messages which are totally unfair as the many 1000s of investors I've met will tell you.

I'd suggest your anger at me is more about your own shortcomings. If I was holding onto a loser from £10 to £4 I'd be pretty annoyed at myself too.

Vox markets favourite SED has gone bust.

TGP anouced a 300k loss, forward looking statement looks encouraging, haven't a clue what the market will think, as they said they were looking to break round around even..

I find it a fascinating exercise to watch my portfolio evolve over time (and i'm not talking days or weeks here, i am talking over a few years).

I was looking back at what my top four holdings were three years ago and they were as thus:

1) TET
2) ANP
3) AVG
4) LGEN

That was when TET was at about £10 a share and it's now at £4 so not unexpectably it's dropped from my top holding to about seventh now. It's really interesting watching different holdings jostle for position over time.

This is my top four holdings today:

1) AVG
2) CNC
3) MNG
4) ANP

MNG i barely even had a holding back in 2021. The vast majority i bought in 2022 with the proceeds of a takeover that year. Equally CNC was a much smaller holding and it too was mostly added to that year.

I wonder what the next three years will look like..
