Charles-Henri Sabet has previously been a significant and successful investor in online trading platforms. Mr Sabet founded e-trading company Synthesis Bank in 1999, eventually becoming a white label of Saxo Bank. Saxo Bank bought Synthesis in 2007. Sabet then remained with Saxo for about a year, acting as Saxo’s Head of Global Trading.

Yes there is a game afoot here - on a simple level the excellent new platform, new image makeover, new celebrity analyst (on the beeb news yesterday), new invigorated staff - classic turnaround stuff - and coincidentally it also makes them tempting for any lurking concert party wishing to draw in backers

The only way I see full control being achieved for Mr Sabet is to make an outright bid for the company whilst the enterprise value is so low. The benefit of this (quite aside from full control) is that it washes away the problem of the conversion terms of the CLN and the now worthless warrants. Luckily there are a number of institutions on the shareholder list and some former executive management holders that, in such an event, I don’t believe would allow a low ball bid to get voted through.

Will be the L&G reduction in holdings that caused the drop to 6p, ties in with the drop from 11p per share book value in mid January time. Once/if clarity returns on numbers then the share price should surpass 11p quite easy.

richie666, that's a well reasoned research note..definitely potential here. Decent results may be the spring board here,, would not rule out an approach for the whole coy either.

Just looking here as it seems the potential is quite good. Noticed that the last trade today of around 10k of shares costed around £700... and lifted the MC by £300K!! .. unbelievable this market nowadays. Goes to show where LCG could get to if they get there act together though. share price should be in the teens at least.

Looks like someone cleared the market this morning with the 200k purchase. I don;t think it would take much buying interest to see these better.

Arthur_Lame_Stocks - yep that's it exactly - its a punt on a startup now - waiting for a flash giving evidence that the strategy is working.
