20/10/2015 12:46 | I also have been contacted on this offer. Not sure what to do. | irenekent
19/10/2015 21:47 | Could it be the directors looking to get some shares now they have taken all the cash because they know there is some value left in the assets? | morro
19/10/2015 21:37 | I've not heard anything. | topvest
19/10/2015 18:41 | Curt did you respond positively to the request by the company about whether shareholders would be willing to sell? This is a curious offer - who are the employees???????? Do these people say who they really are? Coming from Switzerland it clearly stinks. | morro
19/10/2015 10:40 | I have received an official offer of 2p per share from Laurent Tschopp Fiscalite of Switzerland, acting as trustee on behalf of the London Asia Capital Employee Benefit Trust. With the documentation there not am single word from the directors to advise or recommend !! After years of this fiasco I am inclined to take the offer. Has anyone else received this offer ?? | curt3

13/10/2015 15:26 | I've now supported the offer via Barclays. Let's hope all goes well for us! | gatehill
12/10/2015 22:11 | Still not entirely clear who will be buying these shares. If it is LDC then surely if a sufficient number are cancelled then Richpoint will go above 30% and have to make a bid for the whole company. | morro
12/10/2015 17:36 | Having pondered... I'll accept the 2p too. Bird in the hand and all that. Take the Capital Loss and move on. Put the vestige into something better. | trader2
11/10/2015 20:04 | I'm accepting 2P. IMO you are unlikely to get much better from this bunch of rather dubious individuals. | topvest
09/10/2015 11:29 | I've also had the letter from Barclays. Are we likely to get any more money or should we support the work they are proposing and accept the likely 2p? | gatehill
08/10/2015 20:32 | Naaaa - not yet. Still pondering what I see as my best option. | trader2
08/10/2015 19:27 | Trader2 did you respond to the LDC request for notification of interest in possibly selling? | morro
07/10/2015 21:17 | I was asked to respond by the end of August, but I have certificates now. Looks like they haven't been able to contact nominee shareholders properly. They are totally useless! | topvest
07/10/2015 14:08 | Surprised to get a letter from Barclays Stockbrokers - gauging my interested in selling at around 2p/share. Need instruction by 14Oct15. Not had anything from LDC directly - nor seen anything to this effect on the LDC website. Can't be just me!! | trader2
29/9/2015 21:00 | Perhaps we need a campaign of emails to the CEO asking for updates. Anyone interested? | ardiebo
28/9/2015 19:58 | Yes, my letter was 7 August and not heard anything at all since. Everyone that ever works or is connected with this company seems to be full of...! Suspect they have the sellers lined-up, but not the buyers of £5m of new share capital. Lets face it you would have to be stark raving mad to invest in this bunch of cowboys! | topvest
28/9/2015 09:53 | The following question and answer dates from 29/06/15 Q. "Is there any more information about the dealing process for the shares?" A. "We will have details in the next 14 days or so as to the mechanism being proposed." So, are shareholders to be kept informed of progress or is this yet another AIM market case of directors looking after their own interests rather than the interests of shareholders? | ardiebo
25/9/2015 11:28 | Those who have made a profit can congratulate themselves but I think the results in just a few weeks time are going to be a very exciting time for shareholders. There is real money to be made here and I am not thinking of a grand or two. Ah.... a trip down memory lane yes...exciting result were achieved by this company. I love the idea of adding in "profits". | marksp2011
28/8/2015 05:15 | Well, even if nothing is ever recovered here, this quote is worth repeating and certainly worth more than 2p per share for any authors or film producers here. The transaction was managed by Mr Simon Littlewood, who has since commented that 'the Croatian Mafia has the outstanding $6 million belonging to LAC shareholders' | loverat
10/8/2015 17:01 | If they are offering 2p, my guess would be they now think they can recover a lot more. Cynical maybe, but with this company I don't think cynicism has often been misplaced! That said if I still held (thankfully got out in time and sympathize with those of you victims of their 'how long is a piece of string', behaviour since) I would take the 2p and never darken their door again! Wonder what the 'Croatian Mafia' are up to these days lol...... :) | microscope
10/8/2015 16:03 | I've seen other companies take this sort of approach. We are certainly being "had", but that has always been the case here. 2P is better than nothing. The letter is on London Asia letterhead but makes no reference who is the buyer. | topvest
09/8/2015 09:03 | I think we all know the answer to that question! | topvest |
