Has anyone here tried to value this company or like me do they just feel a takeout will happen at a,much higher value taking account of financing dilution.

Good rise so far today. If we can hold this rise the chart begins to look very encouraging. It looks to me that we should go a lot higher very soon!

I am surprised that the price has come off so rapidly. Because of the thin tarde in this stock I guess there is always going to be some MM games and over reaction both up and down.

I think that they will get a fax with the info on but of course because we are talking about an American organisiation it will be in the afternoon or even after the close of business. They have to interpret that information so I would expect a morning RNS the next day not during the day.

I have been out all day, just arrived home and note very little alteration to market since 0830 this a.m.
Looking at trades I suspect House broker has been keeping a lid on market
very well.
Like Nobby I suspect announcement shortly, but perhaps someone could advise how the announcement to LMT will occur. Do they get it by fax, or letter?
What I am undecided about is will we get an RNS in the pre market list or will,(if it is sent to Lmt by post or Fax) we get a mid morning or mid afternoon announcement. If I knew the answer I could plan my golf much better.

The wheels at the FDA turn very slowly as I know from bitter experience (I work in the Pharma industry). There are certain timelines they are supposed to follow at least for drug applications, which they frequently miss, although they have improved recently.

I have no idea how it works for devices. However, the approval was expected in Q4 last year so assuming the responses LMT submitted in October/November were adequate, then approval should come very shortly. It may be possible that there could be a further round of questions from the FDA but you would have thought this would have to be announced by an RNS if that was true.

So my money is on an announcement in the next few weeks.

Just seen the lade from Friday. It was difficult to buy any online as noticed with Barcs as I couldn't get online quote but today I can buy 1k max. I tried checking fda site on how long before news as LMT seem to have fulfilled their part especially manufacturing, any ideas anyone timescale once this is approved?

Yes I agree that seems bizarre. I can't believe anyone would pay that much over the odds to get size.

Yes I agree. This was a high volume day for LMT.

And you have to say the chart looks magnificent and further rises look inevitable to me! In fact I would not be surprised if it gaps up tomorrow because there was some late buying on Friday.

Stable/Rayrac - I guess in the grand scheme of things (for LMT) 70k is quiet respectable - lets hope for that long awaited news.

There is something strange about that Skinny. As I had experienced yesterday, I bought for 186p and 187p, but it appears they are tightly held and traded through mm's only. I do wonder if they realise news is due and the potential value that should be on the way.

Or of course, I could be jumping the gun and regret it, but I don't think so.

It is 4 years since I came back into LMT after a veryenjoyable previous investment.Those who have been in since those days have seen many lows and a few highs and currently hope is on our side as we await news for th e other side of the pond.
I do have to bear in mind the old saying up on the rumour and down on the fact, but when you remember a few months ago, how the price jumped on the then latest news, I do believe that there is still someway to go for Rayrac and others.

Skinny, 20 mill is correct, but from my notes,(not guaranteed) Invesco has 38pc and Perpetual 15 pc back in June 2011 I am sure someone will update me if I am wrong, so I presume very strong holders.

If there are no shares in free float the price has to be pushed up to encourage sellers and to fill any orders. Some positive news now to attract new buyers would be very good for the price.

I've been watching the share price perform better the last few days and it gives me the impression that something is about to happen soon. So I wanted to be a part of it.

Having said earlier that the volume was very low actually it has turned out to be a relatively high volume day. It seems there were various orders in (like Rayrac's) which lead to a series of delayed trades.

All bodes well for next week and possible news of the FDA approval.

Two relatively big buys went through at 189p. Perhaps there is a seller and there will be a delayed trade later.

It seems an eternity waiting for approval considering the device is being used in Europe and hopefully will be forthcoming soon especially as it was expected q3/q4.
