22/3/2011 11:13 | Rayrac, i've no idea what percent of the UK market LMT is aiming for. i think there are about 5/6 manufacturers of aortic stent grafts in use in the UK. This article is interesting for the background of major players... | nod
22/3/2011 09:59 | Rayrac J+J need something reliable they recently have had as many recalls as Toyota.I remember that not so long ago all other attempts in the states to make a high angled stent as lmt had all had problems.# Heres hoping we get the next few news reports, starting with the results and push us onwards. | stable
22/3/2011 09:54 | That must surely be in the bag PHILO124? Otherwise, why am I here? ;-) Wonder if the 'likes' of J&J are watching? | rayrac

21/3/2011 13:09 | nod, what % of the difficult to treat market does Aorfix expect to win? It can't possibly take more the 25% of the whole market surely? I haven't a clue, all I know is, my faith looks like it may be rewarded! | rayrac
21/3/2011 11:24 | Looks like we are heading back to the 1.6 level | restassured

21/3/2011 07:34 | Aorfix(TM) Achieves 85% Market Share Growth in the UK London, UK, 21st March 2011 - Lombard Medical Technologies PLC (AIM: LMT), a medical device company focused on devices for the $1.1 billion abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) repair market, today announces that data published by independent market researcher BIBA Medical Ltd shows that its lead product, the Aorfix(TM) endovascular stent graft, is now the third most widely used aortic stent graft in the UK. The data shows that the market share held by Aorfix(TM) grew by approximately 85% last year and it accounted for nearly 9% of the UK AAA stent graft market in 2010. The significant growth in the adoption of Aorfix(TM) by leading clinicians has been driven by the publication of substantial supportive clinical research, evidencing the superiority of Lombard Medical's product in difficult to treat cases and its exclusive market position as the only endovascular stent graft approved in Europe to treat complex anatomies with angulations up to 90[deg]. It also reflects the strategic decision to focus sales and marketing resources on Europe's five largest markets, led initially by the UK and Germany. Simon Hubbert, Chief Executive Officer of Lombard Medical, commented: "We are investing heavily in building up the sales and marketing behind Aorfix(TM) and the sharp rise in UK market share in 2010 shows that our strategy is working. The clear benefits of Aorfix(TM) in difficult to treat aortic aneurysms are being recognised by specialist clinicians in the UK and other markets and we look forward to further significant growth in Europe." - Ends - | restassured
16/3/2011 14:33 | It has halved in the last few weeks. I have taken a new stake today. | restassured

16/3/2011 13:11 | Roundyg I've been trading nearly 25 years, never heard of that before, shares can be suppended or delisted for many reasons, but not just because the share price is static over a period of time. But i've got faith in this share as well as a few pounds,i think we a due news by the beginning of Q3 if not sooner. keep the faith | withoutt
16/3/2011 11:54 | --> withoutt Thanks. I remember there was a share price related reason for delisting before (2003-ish when it traded as Lombard Medical) and I was pretty sure that the conditions for continued listing are that the share price is not less than 1p for a period of time... perhaps 90 days. I am open to correction though. Thanks | roundyg
16/3/2011 11:30 | Roundyg No i,ve got worse shares than this on aim, that are worth next to nothing but are still trading, if they run out of money or can't raise any then thats the time to start panicking. | withoutt
16/3/2011 10:24 | Does teh share price have to keep a minimum price for continued listing? | roundyg
15/3/2011 15:52 | 1 million sell @ 1.0p out of the way. | philo124
15/3/2011 11:49 | Bought 200,000 @ 1.05p fwiw. | philo124
15/3/2011 11:23 | Depends it you got off the bus or not :) - I missed the stop, but have a lot of faith in this one long term so am fine. Possibly people selling up as they need the cash, a lot of PIs I imagine are getting crushed right now with ther overall market the way it is. | munkychunky
15/3/2011 10:42 | all the way back down to 1p then. well it was a good ride ha | webshares
02/3/2011 14:11 | No, just sells, lack of sellers, top up time soon! | philo124
