On the subject of canadian oilers that could be interested in athena, my first thought was north sea energy, as they currently have a 10% interest in the jacky field, operated by ithaca, which has been pumping since april 2009. This well, I think had an estimated life of just over 5 years.

They are also involved with encounter oil, a new exploration company set up by the former encore oil team.

Trap and lhd will not be bought out as one and out of all oilies pmg has a very weak hand out of the companies in the bidding process.

Moreover I agree with sea that nothing will happen until may 20% production but live in hope.
