15/4/2013 10:25 | I stand corrected about Uisge Beatha, and also the correct spelling of Whisky (Transatlantic differences). FPM need something producing, which would not bring with it decommissioning liabilities. That is an interesting speculation about (especially) LHD; normally I dismiss made-up rumours but it does actually sound plausible. Perhaps not made up... | wbodger
15/4/2013 10:10 | Trd, faroe missed out on a number of bids last year and has about $250 million credit facility which I think is still unused. Graham stewart did confirm that they would consider using their war chest to take over rivals and buy individual assets. He is enthusiastic about north sea deals despite fierce competition. M & a activity in the north sea in 2012 was at a 10 year high of £6.25bn Faroe's interest in acquiring UK producing assets partly reflects the desire to utilise around £65m tax losses it built up on activity in the country's waters. They could be one of the companies showing interest. Many possibles. | sea7
15/4/2013 10:01 | dry is best, bomfin :) | sea7

15/4/2013 09:40 | Please don't talk about Water or Whisky. Dry is best on both counts! :-) | bomfin
15/4/2013 09:37 | WB, The Term 'Whisky' is an anglisced corruption of the Gaelic word 'uisge' meaning water, or to give it its correct term 'Uisge beatha', 'The water of life!', I like the sound of that business plan!!! lol | sea7
15/4/2013 09:16 | Markets are not liking Oilies one bit at the moment, this has to turn at some stage, Builders are flying & have been for the past year, Crazy, | therealdeal5
15/4/2013 08:59 | Uisge is the Gaelic spelling of Whiskey, isn't it? So they are generating power to make moonshine in International waters. Now there's a business plan that might work. | wbodger
15/4/2013 08:59 | Sea i was chatting with a freind who works in the city over the weekend he reckons FPM might be looking at Trap & LHD, how's that for not being a mile out then? lol it would make sense as they have the cash & want to increase production levels, PMG might also be involved, don't shoot the messenger, :-) | therealdeal5
15/4/2013 07:41 | yes it was, I couldn't remember who asked it. | sea7
14/4/2013 22:27 | Sea is this in answer to a question I asked a while back? I was wondering how much and where it was going, lol | therealdeal5
14/4/2013 11:52 | Someone did mention, some time ago about the gas from the field. https://www.og.decc. Gas production in the early years of the Athena field will be used to supply fuel for power generation on the Uisge Gorm FPSO. | sea7

Trap has many faults but they do not want to be taken over and they are not going to take lhd over. By the way you didn't answer my question did Tom Cross want to sell Dana Petroleum to KNOC? lmao | therealdeal5
12/4/2013 12:11 | UT yes looking forward to it. There deal these teenage rants are dull now weeks on end. | falklands

12/4/2013 11:14 | In a month LHD should be putting $1.8 million of free cash in the bank every single month. The p/e will get go steadily lower well under 1. | utrecht_00
12/4/2013 10:58 | there deal nobody takes both companies out at once stop inventing and try and base your thoughts on the companies RNS long term outlooks. Trap has many faults but they do not want to be taken over and they are not going to take lhd over. | falklands
12/4/2013 10:36 | well if you look at the whole picture someone could take Trap & LHD for around £50 Million, weigh up the income, that has to be a great deal surely? any thoughts? i reckon they are both going to go to the same buyer now. | therealdeal5
12/4/2013 10:14 | Well UT it's trap costs not percentage, lhd has the same loot coming in a month net of costs on athena and the cap is a we bit different and pe. | falklands
12/4/2013 10:08 | this thing gets cheaper by the day. If it goes for 9p it will still represent good value. Have to say with 15% of athena trap should not be as low as it is. As you say real deal markets don't know how to value producers. | utrecht_00
12/4/2013 09:18 | duster day i see for trap something for them to keep mum about lhd is now the true short term investment for takeout There deal ask the trap site pe is 6 I think in 2014 you could argue the same about aey at 1.5 pe but lhd is the here and now at under 1pe | falklands
12/4/2013 09:13 | Well this is what i think i reckon anew buyer will take out Trap & LHD, has anyone seen Traps RNS today? another duster, it's down to 10.75p to sell now, both looking cheap considering what they are producing, DYOR | therealdeal5 |
