22/12/2016 13:52 | hillofwad, Well done. I'm still looking to buy lower down. | tiltonboy
22/12/2016 11:19 | I sold 20k yesterday at 28.13 and 20k on the 20th at 28p. Got my 28p in the end Tilts and more to come!!! | hillofwad
22/12/2016 10:42 | I have sold 40k shares in the last week | hillofwad
22/12/2016 10:28 | No need to bow! we = as a firm | tiltonboy
22/12/2016 10:20 | @tilts - who's "we", are you royal? ;) Totally agree on the tiny part-fills - infuriating when on a minimum commission! Worse, sometimes after a tiny part-fill, the size is too small to close again - broker won't allow eg 50 shares onto OB. | spectoacc
21/12/2016 23:15 | it's all part of the fun of the markets | ntv
21/12/2016 22:50 | Many thanks Tilts, certainly ties in with my experience. | cockerhoop
21/12/2016 17:37 | The biggest problem is in getting a micro hit. I'm sure there is somebody out there that is intent on p!$$ing people off. Evening tilts. That is exactly the problem that I find. I was looking to build a stake in a small counter and put a few thousand on the board and got around 360 shares over the day in about 50 plus hits at 1's 2's 5's 10's, etc. Nightmare!! I was convinced that it was someone just taking the p*ss! | cwa1
21/12/2016 14:16 | Tiltonboy, Your last post made me think about my general experiences using DMA. Whenever I try to buy at close to the bid, my price tends to get gazumped (I assume by a MM), often the offer price also then ticks up to maintain the spread meaning that by trying to buy cheaply I've actually pushed the offer price up. Often pulling my bid price then restores the original equilibrium. Do you have any tips for using DMA to successfully trade within the spread? Many thanks | cockerhoop
21/12/2016 13:53 | Thnx Tilts - so someone wanting to be best bid & take anything available... | skyship
21/12/2016 13:43 | SKYSHIP, There has been a random seller of 4000 shares over the last week. Not certain what that is about! I've been putting up some bids on the board everyday, but getting gazumped immediately, so have not dealt for some time now. I will see how the early auctions go, before deciding whether to up my bids. | tiltonboy
21/12/2016 12:21 | I'm a bit nervous about stating the bleedin' obvious, but the share price & indicators are firming. What's going on behind the scenes Tilts? free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
19/12/2016 16:28 | IC - apologies for my 1827 above - I didn't realise there was anything more to your post as there was no associated link - so I thought your comment was just that. Now I see you've done quite a detailed piece. I agree the history is appalling; but we are where we are; and it is where we are now that provides meaningful upside. The Short/Vetch connection is an interesting find; and if not stated back in 2013 then certainly should have been. | skyship
19/12/2016 15:34 | Ah, I see - another investment blogging website touting for business. | redhill9
19/12/2016 14:52 | Here's a link to the article Seems balanced enough to me | cockerhoop
19/12/2016 14:42 | Self-proclaimed Investorschampion - before giving yourself a moniker like that perhaps you should first learn a thing or two about the investment business; especially doing research for more than 5mins and for a longer timescale than one month. For a start, take a look at Simon Thompson's online piece in today's column; he reiterates the value here. | skyship
19/12/2016 14:12 | Full year results and recent shareholder activity compelled us to take a closer look....... Interesting if uninformative post. Who are "us" exactly and why did you all feel "compelled"? If you have something informative to add about LSR I'm sure shareholders would be interested to hear details but your post simply repeats comments that have been made here frequently, and in far more detail, over many months. | redhill9
19/12/2016 14:08 | That's quite a damning summary, pity Soukup didn't get his way and stir things up a bit. | paleje
15/12/2016 15:00 | One can only have so much patience with a BoD that has failed since inception and even now renig on previous commitments to shareholders. There has been no mention of their previous commitment to revisit the Internos contract. This is now the third year that Internos have been paid £1m per year. Under the terms of the initial contract they were suppose to only receive £1m in year 1 and 2 then £0.5 in year 3 and 4. Despite the fact that assets have been reduce (at a cost to shareholders £1.2m in total since Internos came on board). Furthermore the current Total Expense Ratios (TER) is 1.45% whereas the industry standard is 0.7% with some as low as 0.3%! These 'management' expenses are out of control. Allsops, Pughs, Jordans, Eddisons etc etc are doing all the real work, so why are we still are paying fees on top of fees? Doesnt this boarder on criminal to charge 2x the market rate for doing very little? Dont forget there is a builtin dis-incentive under which Internos will not help to sell the entire company! | deepvalue2015
14/12/2016 07:40 | HoW - a good response... | skyship
13/12/2016 18:16 | Apologies pressed send before spellcheck | hillofwad
13/12/2016 17:59 | Sky Been watching Local Shop since Grahame first conceived the idea of setting up an REIT _so yes fully aware of the 2 portfolios which were sold . That somehow seems a long time ago . To quote an old adage "An agent is as good as his or her next deal." The sales were satisfactory but a little galling to see the buyers immediately hawking some of the properties around the market and taking a profit No disrepsect to Internos buy its not any great alchemy in cobbling togther a portfolio lio of properties and ,instructing an agent The portfolis basically sold themselves leves and on the faceo f it haventseen Internos added anything to the party Credit to Allsopps for getting them away One of the 3 failed buyers is rumoured to be of the former employees who managed to negotiate a"hold" unsure if there was a lockout but they were punting around the market trying to bring some funding on board The price was too smokey I do blame Internos from not being close enough to the deal and just hoping that he deal went through Not once but 3 times That isnt the sign of good investment managementI lay the balme firmly at their door Whats more in the 6 months before Bexit they missed out on the opportunity of knocking out some of the individual properties at good prices I see 2106 asayear of missed opportunities and you are satisfied with just £5m an and few more recntly being agood tally i certainly dont You have read the auctioneers reports of successful sales in 2016 Those could easily have been LSR.stock I see Internos of wasting a whole year of opportuities o not overly impressed The thing about road maps ts taht they wind into an uncertain future | hillofwad |
