Are these ones which were part of the portfolios already sold or direct from the horse

A couple went in yesterday's Pugh auction in Manchester - no idea as to Book or Guide, but they did at least sell, albeit at tidy yields for the purchasers:

3 more for sale tomorrow in Leeds, would have been 4 but one "sold prior".

Not strange really just facing reality If there were any cherries here they would have been picked . Well the only improvment in the situation is Grahame has been removed from the equation I agree that any devaluation is likely to be modest The situation though hasnt change in selling a portfolio where any buyer would want a discount for quantum furthermore suspect that has got larger minimum 25% which does make 34p the high watermark for me especailly if its going to include a load of dross I would be pleased to be proved wrong Happy at 27.5p will think very seriously about jettisoning the rest at just over

The latest sales are just over book which doesnt bode well and sales have slowed which emphasies the fact there is world of differnceb between book value and actually realising it in the market

12th/13th - next Monday or Tuesday - great, bring them on...

Personally looking for N/C on NAV.

Strange time to be selling LSR I'd have thought but I can understand the frustration. Although the imminent figures may not be brilliant I'd expect them to show that the current share price significantly undervalues the situation bearing in mind the high yields (especially when considered against the sp) and low cost debt. I'm expecting a reduction in NAV but even so the share price should remain at a substantial discount. The question of course is about the management quality and intent but hopefully they've had a wake-up kick from Thal that will get them back on track.

MRF/HoW - no need for that surely. Let's all just wait for the statement accompanying the EGM & the Finals. They should answer a few questions...

Hillwalking I wonder if you could post a pdf or jpeg of your contract notes just to avoid any confusion or doubt at all, thanks.

HoW - sorry, I was really referring to MRF's two posts:

Your gonna have to put them on at 27.25 no lol.

Won't be long before these are even lower than that imo

1724
There you go 27.25p now.

Probably be under 27p soon.

They clearly didn't seem to coincide with the price prevailing in the Market!

Start again!!wrong numbers. I had sold 30% of my holding on the Ist December having come to the conclusion that my aim of jumping 30p was disappearing over the horizon. I put 25k shares on For Tilts the next day and he didnt bite reduced those to 28p -they failed to sell and havent put any more on with the dropping price so now down to 70% of my original holding

I think its fair to assume now is that sales have now ground to a virtual halt as they cant achieve book price. It would be good to hear that isnt the case Its just a guess now how much below book these are actually worth Certainly there are going to be a few of the vacant 10% with a severe haircut Maybe with Grahame gone somebody might step up to the plate and bag the whole lot .We can always hope

hillofwad,

You didn't offer them to me at 25p...perhaps you meant by 0.25p!

I've been on the board at 27.25p all day and haven't had a sniff.

Skyship I dont understand why my chat is perverse Fairly upfront and straightforward if you ask me I had sold 30% of my shareholding the day before(I should have out more on with hindsight-but there we are ) I responded to Tilts request and put some on next day as an early taster .Reduced them down 25p and still I didnt manage to sell any unfortunately so including those unsold still left with 70% of my holding which I havent tried to sell

Been out a bit today so your chat seems rather perverse, especially if based upon someone selling all of 4000 shares @ 27.26p.

HoW....can you perhaps enlighten us.....Oh, and did you sell your balance at the closing bid price of 27.75p?

Yes possibly right I think Ive missed my boat again Sold a few yesterday . Relatively relaxed around 27.75 p I would count muself as on the negative side of neutral Just think that the 34p was deffo the high water mark and that any further sales are likely to be be below book
