Well I think we can see with holdings in company.. Peter Gyllenhammar ..well known activist value investor ..buying into cash and property at huge discount and looking for more it would seem. Will go for control and probably try to liquidate and pay 28-30p out I guess. However major holders DS and Thalassa disc trust may have other ideas...could get interesting.

So who puts a bid that size on the book? If you are serious your broker talks to known holders about doing a deal so what sort of statement is this trying to make and why?

on the other hand, mr soukup has not demonstrated that he is there only to milk the companies in which he is involved. his salary from thalassa is however a bit stiff and it would be better if he was paid on a success fee basis.

They could think that the assets are not worth that much, what with covid over the last 6 months since valuation, and that the cash will slowly disappear into director's pockets as salary. So figure getting out with something is better than hanging on to nothing much at all. Or they just want shot of it to focus on opportunities, those places do not dwell on the past, only making money on the future.

Not sure if there's upset might not be their thing? Agree taking low ball price for what is clean vehicle with cash and realisable assets...if it is them.I've bought a few down here topping up , but the demerger hasn't proved a shareholder valuation enhancing event so far...but as with many things Thalassa , hard work understanding the moves ,motives and plans for now 3 corporate entities.. definitely value plays and if the vehicles attract the right deals could be big upside. Feels there should be clearer messaging for all 3 listings on where it's all going and then might attract new investors to narrow the discounts to book as they trade at value trap valuations which don't hopefully recognise the potential.

clearly Lombard selling out - at the cash value ! one must assume they are in conflict with mr soukup, why on earth would you otherwise dump the stock at this ridiculous price?

Looks like Lombard Odier the seller as they would have owned 8% from distribution ..maybe share buyback ? Would be asset value enhancing by around 3%.

Some big prints going through that will be reportable, there were not many holders in this size so be interesting to see where the stock is going.

The property portfolioThe six properties contained in the portfolio therefore continue to be recognised in the financial statements at their holding value in the Company's accounts at 30 September 2019. One property is considered to be held for sale and its holding value in the Company's accounts therefore takes account of agreed pricing and sales costs.Being valued at £3.12M.I note net rental income in first half £184k..so if you annualise and apply to valuation you are looking at short 12% yield at carry value.

So about 13.75p in property assets per 17.7p cash per share.

Hi all, I'm seeking some info if anyone would be prepared to oblige me. I am executor of a will for a deceased relative. Their shareholdings include some LSR shares which we are not able to sell as it is suspended. Is anyone able to tell me if/when I will be able to sell these shares? I understand there was a takeover (of sorts) but this seems to have been going on for ages now. Are these shares dead money now or can I hope to retrieve something for the beneficiaries at some point? Any info or insight would be very welcome. Thanks.

The announcement states there is no further information to be disclosed about Mr Edwards. Presumably we can look forward to learning more about Mr Soukup
