Yes, New Solera have increased their holding by 500,000, apparently on 28 July.

Do we think they know what they're doing.....? Could be a good sign, although they must be close to LSR with their major shareholding presumably they can't have any detailed knowledge of the sale or they wouldn't have been able to deal.

When you consider all the number of people involved in that auction on the side of both the winner and the under-bidders, it would be surprising if someone didn't chance their arm with a small piece of insider trading. But placing a 500k order would be plain stupid.

If we do get a good result then two things cross my mind:

1. How soon will we see a second Auction package

2. Will we see an early tender offer, or some-such capital return

Mustn't count one's chickens; but in such dull Markets it is nice to hope for a continued rise in LSR...

I was following LAS when they sold their largest asset and it took 6 weeks from the announcement of press comment on the sale to confirmation of the sale. A similar timeframe for LSR would see a RNS in around 2 weeks from now.
