I am guessing that a lot of institutions will accept the tender. They will not like being stuck holding a large percentage of what could become an illiquid security.

Well at 1.6725, the yield is 5.53%, so I think I'll probably do nothing?

Boystown: that's my reading of it - but that sounds far too obvious. I guess we risk not getting £1.6725 but we have to offset that against the loss of the dividend - and the problem of finding somewhere that will pay the same, or better, dividend.

So we're being offered £1.6725 for these (and we get the divi) - but if we decide to decline, nothing changes right?

Thanks for this - much to think over and, unless I am mistaken, not very long to do that thinking. Hopefully others, wiser than I, will make their views known.

P@, any link, I can't find anything.Certainly things are happening in these types of things, nationwide are offering to buy back the original Cheshire pubs for a decent price (or at least a price 20% better than the market would give me a week ago).

Not had my dividend in at EQI for LLPC or LLPD. Anyone else not had theirs/got it from EQI specifically? Cheers

PS: Had it in all my other brokers

Was also wondering if there would be a tender offer for the aviva prefs I'd sell out at a 4 yield

Ref post #906. I see I sold 40000 LLPC and 40000 LLPD at about 177 Feb 2018
No regrets as that capital trebled since.
Held most from 2009 or before at average 72p I recall.
An acquaintance got some at 40p when Lloyds went belly up.
They dropped a few days later

LLPE stable. Some Aviva Prefs on the move (expectation of buy-out? Skyship is the expert).

You are correct deadly about the fall and congrats to those who bought sub 125.
I am keeping my holdings under review given my concern that long term sterling interest rates will be well higher in 18 months time but will continue to hold for the forseeable future.

Recovered all of last years losses as of today. Never should have dropped so much anyway.
