Almost down the full ex-div amount now, bit disappointing, especially given rest of market doing well today (Banks up 2%, Insurers 1% ..). Anyway, still planning to add more to my holding so happy to take advantage of the current 'bargain' price.

it's an excellent buying opportunity imho. My div goes into my ISA and I'll use that money today and a b it more to add.

Theres a chance due to this size of the dividend (50p), that a few stops get hit tomorrow and we go lower, might be an opportunity to add sub 616p

This drop has Deutsche banks filthy paw prints all over it,when the share price hit over £8 recently they issued a sell note target in the mid £6 range.Well we are nearly there, reckon they want their clients in on the cheap.

I suppose part of the run-up in shareprice was to do with the potential FTSE 250 inclusion - could be a real bargain though, especially if it drops even further by (more than) the ex-div amount ... ?

Shareprice was 1250p pre-covid and reached 2250p mid-2021. Now 665p, bizarre really.

As a matter of interest, what exactly do you think is the election effect on OSB?

It does look as if it could drop nearer to 600p this week.
I have a largish (for me) holding and have been considering adding again.
But the size of this fall is a bit disturbing.
Not sure whether to add now for the Div or buy cheaper afterwards.
Actually, mostly interested in the longer term.
Might mean forego Div and buy low.
GL all, pete

It's trading below the levels it reached at Covid lows ... over time I expect to do very well here, despite my gains here now reduced to 5% (excluding dividend payouts !)
