12/1/2018 07:09 | Pleased with the TU today. Revenue growth is what LGT need. | trader2
07/11/2017 16:12 | And there's the seller today. Boston Trust based in the Isle of Man - coincidence given yesterday's tax haven news. | xajorkith
07/11/2017 15:17 | Fits with the bumpy ride. I am happy to let well alone and have it push higher, consolidate, and repeat. | hpcg
07/11/2017 13:27 | Interesting for a low volume share that the market had the appetite for 5m in one trade. Also, why the recent volume? Hmmmmmm ? | trader2
07/11/2017 12:13 | 5m shares gone through at 20p. There are only a few shareholders at that level. Wonder if David Hickey has sold out ? For a Chairman who had to resign it would really wind me up if he has just cashed in £1m !!! | graham1ty
04/10/2017 20:57 | Good to see this amongst the larger risers today after recent weakness. Very nice three year uptrend (albeit "bumpy") underpinned by excellent ex-cash value going forward. Expect this to be significantly higher in the next 6-12 months. All imho & dyor... | xajorkith
07/9/2017 08:51 | Oh yes, I agree, but its a bumpy ride not a nice smooth slope. | hpcg
07/9/2017 07:56 | FWIW - looks pretty enough to me. Uptrend still intact. | trader2
06/9/2017 18:41 | Actually this now just looks like the normal price action for the stock, it just doesn't look pretty. | hpcg
05/9/2017 10:48 | Hpcg, a certain amount of the cash is regulatory capital, prob about £5m. However, agree, am glad they have a buffer. In the 2005-10 period, their very existence was in doubt. Now they are growing, are past RDR and have the flexibility to focus on turning all their affinity contracts into profit | graham1ty

05/9/2017 10:22 | Maybe some expectation of some of the cash pile going into a special dividend? I applaud the dividend increase, based on improved earnings, but I also like the cash pile. Small companies have a high cost of capital so much safer to have a reserve IMO. | hpcg
05/9/2017 09:24 | Surprised this is getting marked down. It has had a good run, but there are upgrades from FinnCap and it is not expensive | graham1ty
05/9/2017 08:56 | Not a lot beats revenue up and costs down. | hpcg
05/9/2017 06:54 | Bit of revenue growth as well! | trader2
05/9/2017 06:28 | These results look pretty good. The share price rise has been based on fundamentals, nothing more ! | graham1ty
30/8/2017 20:21 | I'm not classical charting. For small and anonymous companies like LGT the price action is informed. This has to show through in the chart because the chart is the record of price action. Sells are an even better tell. I found the company through its trading statement, but I wouldn't have bought in if the price hadn't been rising. | hpcg
30/8/2017 12:39 | Must admit I'm not a fan of charting but each to his own. | impvesta
30/8/2017 12:09 | Impvesta - it's why the chart is important for small companies of little interest to the market. Someone always knows something is going on, its just inevitable. | hpcg
30/8/2017 06:32 | New contract win: hxxps://www.investeg Maybe that explains the share price increase last week, if news had filtered out somehow. | impvesta
23/8/2017 18:54 | Nice bowl forming on the long term chart. Breakout from the 15p region ending in that little bullish flag? Guess you are after real reasons :-) | trader2
23/8/2017 17:15 | Nice rise today. Not seen any reason though ? | graham1ty
22/8/2017 14:33 | I also have very much a starter holding. I'm cautious on anything domestic UK focused at the moment so I'm not rushing in to build yet. | hpcg
22/8/2017 14:31 | I've dipped a small toe in the water today after researching this one. It passed all my filters when screening for profitable companies with small market cap, low price sales ratio, dividend paying and no gearing. | impvesta
18/7/2017 16:51 | Thanks GHF. Its still about growth though in my book. Not EPS growth via reduced costs - real growth, revenue growth. | trader2 |
