cheers. A lot there i dont know, and will take a look at. I have a more concentrated portfolio and tend towards the smaller co's

I think its CCS where ive seen you recently. Im also in PGC which I see as a similar play, but slightly smaller, and very illiquid.

Ive made money out of STAF but no longer have a holding, have moved the money into ITQ, same industry but better prospects i believe.

I am in GNG, and considering going back into CHNS having made money there before. Mattjos who posts there is a good researcher and we both did well out of ETC recently, another Chinese stock.

REDT i love, consider it one of my best prospects and am building a stake. Have spoken to MD and im very impressed

PSPI i dont hold, but always recommend to people as safe div paying stock.

My other major holdings are AVAP(on PLUS) and CLA, they are linked co's. AVAP is likely to move to main market and merge with CLA. I believe this is a brilliant risk/reward investment, as the current prices are well below NAV.

Most of my holdings are in a SIPP and as im a long way from retirement im happy with the high risk illiquid stocks i hold. Although they always tend to be growing profitable co.s

Ive started to look after ISAs for a few family members so having to get into bigger stocks, im just finding it tougher to truly understand them, and their risks and potential, the way i feel able to do with the smaller co's

I dont hold Lighthouse yet, have been following for ages but despite the cash pile not sure what will take to move this.

Hi,

Usually net cash, or less than 30% gearing and plenty of cashflow.

p/e as low as poss, peg as low as poss.

Sector is also important.

Increasing eps by at least 15% a year.

Small cap below 250m, generally below 100m.

Strong outlook statement.

Divi is a bonus.

Not all my shares fall into all those, but generally they do.

Bought some at 8.5p, under mid.

Is quite a bit less than the value of the cash they hold.

Looks like an inflow of 1.6m to the cash pile of LGT. plus the exit from a subscale loss making business, profit was made on original holding. Cash pile still ahead of m.cap. Results should be mid Sept. Pensions outsourcing very much a growth area.

Business valued at cash??

If I remember rightly the cash here is 13m up 12% from last year and so a growing cash pile.

Mcap only 3.5m, cash almost 4 times M.cap

Progressive div. policy too. It was doubled this year.

Business seems to be doing well too. I've taken some here.

surely a lovely long term buy at 7p or so.Business valued at cash and a 5%+ divi to tide one over until the share picks up

Potential changes to CGT on non-business asets are expected to give IFAs plenty of business over the next few months.

If you are interested in quizzing management, the company is exhibiting at this show in April: www.masterinvestor.co.uk. They have a few free tickets available for shareholders and other interested parties if you email the organisers at mi2010tickets@t1ps.com quoting 'Lighthouse Group shareholder'.

Not entirely - it makes the AIM trades look reasonably balanced between buys and sells, but there's also the Plus Markets trades. But of course, there could be other misclassifications...

Obviously a decent buyer in the market soaked up those sells on the results.

If you'd like a hint where some of them went, the 50k at 10.69p this morning were misclassified by ADVFN - they're a "buy", not a "sell".

Ok.

Yep, suspect there's 14p in these over a modest period - has quite a broker following for a small co. Obviously a decent buyer in the market soaked up those sells on the results.

No shortage of cash here ay :-)
