I posted this earlier on the Wanabi AAZ board, where a number of posters have an interest in LBE.

Hey! kirk,

Looks like your rig is on the move.
It was at 64.55.20N 006.44.08E (probably fixed location of last work). Cannot say when it left there.

It now seems to be at 65.32.40N 007.05.40E and heading further N.

Your well is at 66.45.2N 007.49.28E

So 139.27kms on a heading of 013° to go.

Dunno it's velocity in knots. But will probably be on location in a day, or so. Let's say Tues at 07:00hrs ± :)

Reasonably confident in this but please don't make an investment decision based on this!

Should we be buying into the story(?) here......?

This is a 100M stock and its going to become very clear, very quickly.

2 points and im gone for now. See you in a few weeks.

Hugely positive news for #LBE this major discovery is adjacent to #LBE Kveikje discovery. Huge discovery and makes the FANTA Development even more valuable.

Note confirmation in this article that #LBE Kveikje WILL form part of the development.

hxxps://geoexpro.com/a-significant-gas-discovery-at-the-right-time/

This major discovery by DNO is further to the west and deeper than adjacent discoveries - same play and fairway as Jasmine and Sjokreps where DNO are JV'd with #LBE and this well result now derisks the prospects as stated in the RNS

FWIW ..Since I retired I've been lucky to have a few multi bagger stocks..the ones where I gradually invested a large position over a period of time based on what I thought were undervalued/overlooked situations .
LBE was one of these and I expect there's more to come here .

Where else might there be value ? Well check out DELT and SNX.
DYOR of course.

IMV "quiet" on a BB is good news... while holders hold and rampers and derampers avoid only to be surprised by good news flow and FOMO drives prices ;-)!

None, that's why i'm long this stock ;-)

(And my point being that the "market" is weighing the risks too heavily to the downside but weighing them they are thus creating arbitrage).

Fair point if all we had was Velocette for the most part but we now have very tangible assets other than cash (see above).
And which Oiler do you know that has access to $100m dollars of funding (outwith the Norwegian bank EFF funding of £65m) for £7m enterprise value.?

ohisay

... "go figure"...
Yes, indeed but the problem is that cash is measureable whereas risk is intangible.
Take the Velocette well for example (i) there is risk to cost, (ii) there is risk to discovery and (iii) there is risk to economic volume discovered.
The risk to volume discovered here is magnified because LBE will be rewarded in the third ($30m) tranche on a "...sliding scale applied to the gross resources approved for development..."
Can we figure out these risks?

Of course we all hope that the reward on success will be commensurately skewed to the upside... but I certainly don't know. The only person(s) who can figure this out are Mr Market and they probably will get it wrong?

Seems nobody has picked up the big discovery next to our Kveike /Lotus assets last week.

Preliminary evaluation of comprehensive data, including cores and fluid samples, acquired from the discovery well and a follow-on extended sidetrack indicates gross recoverable resources in the range of 120-230 million barrels of oil equivalent (MMboe) on a P90-P10 basis.

At 175 MMboe, the mid-point of this range, Carmen ranks as the largest discovery on the Norwegian Continental Shelf since 2013.

Carmen is DNO’s sixth discovery in the Troll-Gjøa area since 2021 and is located close to existing infrastructure with clear routes towards commercialization. The other discoveries are Røver Nord, Kveikje, Ofelia, Røver Sør and Heisenberg.

Cenkos mentioned it this morning in their note,

Significant Discovery Adjacent to Kveikje – DNO has made a significant gas and condensate discovery at the Carmen prospect in the Norwegian North Sea. The discovery ranks as one of the largest discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf for the past ten years, containing an estimated 120-230mmboe of gross recoverable resources. Significantly for Longboat, Carmen lies adjacent to both the PL293B licence, containing the Kveikje discovery and PL1182 S, containing the Lotus prospect.

Incidentally Cenkos has year end 2023 cash at LBE of £9m cf current mkt cap of £16m ..go figure.
