15/1/2014 09:54 | I've sold today on the cash value being £1.8m and mcap being a lot higher and no project. | johnwalton
15/1/2014 09:54 | cupra but doesnt this depend on the unannounced ratio?? we dont know what it is yet | socktrade1
15/1/2014 09:53 | Cupra - Cheers, LOL | nitram64
15/1/2014 09:51 | Nitram - Probably people buying thinking they're getting the energy side of things too. I would even imagine some have brought this morning without looking why the share price has dropped and just hoping for a bounce :) | cupra kid
15/1/2014 09:51 | anyone buying today only get the resource shares.... shame we di=on't know a simple thing as our entitlement and opening share price. | sos100
15/1/2014 09:48 | IG Markets are good. Already received my Leyshon Energy CFDs even though they are not tradable. | bazboa
15/1/2014 09:47 | nitram the gold part is mothballed at this gold price. £1.8m cash and 250m shares in issue. Dual listed and they need a new venture or partnership plus new board members. | johnwalton
15/1/2014 09:45 | can't understand why there is so much interest in the gold section at the moment, I always assumed it was a dormant part of the business ? | nitram64
15/1/2014 09:44 | Nap who is telling you this? I have checked with 2 sources[brokers corp] and they both say ok to sell lrl and qualify for LE shares as at yesterdays holding. | johnwalton
15/1/2014 09:44 | sock - If you had 1000 shares before the ex date (today) then you will receieve 1000 LRL and 1000 LEL. The difference will be in the share price of both companies. LRL are obviously trading today and LEL when they come to market will be imo circa 6p. You're getting nothing for free.... | cupra kid
15/1/2014 09:43 | so if they split half the shares in lrl and half in lel we wont be better off even if lel can reach 10p plus over all i will be in a worse situation | socktrade1
15/1/2014 09:41 | Sock - read the RNS, all the info is contained - if you had 1000 shares in LRL you will get 1000 in the new LRL and 1000 in LEL - the cost of the original 1000 is the book cost that will be spilt according to an as yet unannounced ration | mayroad2
15/1/2014 09:38 | anyone???? i thought that we will be getting 2 companies for the price of 1 but why are they saying that the book cost will be split between both companies. say i have 1,000 shares will this be split between lel and lrl i.se 500 shares in each? | socktrade1
15/1/2014 09:38 | You sell today and bye bye lel | napdphil
15/1/2014 09:38 | Another answer for johnwalton : Taken from the LRL official Demerger Documents Part 1, Page 19 : " It is important to note that any person who acquires Shares on or after the Ex-Date detailed in the indicative timetable above will not have an entitlement to participate in the In-Specie Distribution, and so will not receive Leyshon Energy Shares. " The 'Ex-Date' is 15th. January - today - so, if you buy LRL shares today at the new low price, you will NOT get Leyshon Energy Shares. Pity, but that's the rule. So, sit tight and wait for 23rd. Jan.......... | churnet99
15/1/2014 09:35 | Usually what I find with splits like this the the poor PIs end up with less value that they had before.Only time will tell. | cyfalafwr
15/1/2014 09:32 | "he Book Cost of your original holding of Leyshon Resources will be apportioned between the Existing Leyshon Resources shares and the New Leyshon Energy " Ive just woken up... what the hell is going on? what do they mean by this? so if you have £10k for example it will be split between lel and lrl? i thought the book cost will be the same for both companies? | socktrade1
15/1/2014 09:29 | im confused.. if i sell my lrl shares today.. will i be getting the same amount of lel next week? | socktrade1
15/1/2014 09:23 | cup Edward is right and you a wrong | johnwalton
15/1/2014 09:19 | JW (i'm sure you know this already), If you buy today, you're buying the resource business and will not get LEL. If you sell LRL today, you're slightly mad. Just keep hold of the shares you have and on the 21st things will be settled | cupra kid
15/1/2014 09:19 | I'll go for B the 2nd one down.. "ou can sell lrl today and qualify for Leyshon Energy at Yesterdays holding level?" | edward3
15/1/2014 09:08 | Hands up all those that think you can buy today and qualify for double shares? Hands up all those who think you can sell lrl today and qualify for Leyshon Energy at Yesterdays holding level? Hands up all those that think you have to hold until the 21st? | johnwalton
15/1/2014 09:05 | The market seems to be attributing a 1.25p value to the resource (LRL) at present so based on yesterdays close the energy (LEL) will be circa 6p. | cupra kid |
