23/1/2014 07:43 | honeyam have LEN listed; nothing on advfn when I looked a few minutes ago. EDIT: It comes up on the advfn quote page if you enter LSE:LEN (not just plain LEN) but it does not add to my monitor page and is not in their index. See: | boadicea

22/1/2014 18:27 | I did actually mention that I was surprised not to be notified by td, glad they have sorted that out. | rcturner2
22/1/2014 17:23 | Well...not in a hurry to sell now as sum of parts i.e. LEN and LRL ...should be greater than old LRL if the recent share price action on LRL is considered. Think we should be getting some real forward looking news from the new BoDs of both companies over the next few weeks....and you never know ...we could be surprised as the news had basically stopped since the split was announced. Still reckon we may have good news from JZ7...but just guessing... Sirra | sirraman
22/1/2014 17:21 | I have also just received a corporate notice on my TDW account, In no rush to trade these at all, going to see how things pan out by summer at least | benjamin15

22/1/2014 16:31 | Thanks RCTurner I don't post (never have done before in fact) but am a shareholder in LRL pre the deadline and intending to hold LEN and LRL post launch of LEN. Have been in LRL since end 2012. I called TDW in the same way (concerned at wanting in principle to be able to sell, though I do not intend to) and got a less helpful reply than you. The person I spoke to said it could take 3 working days for shares to show in accounts and they cannot be traded until then... so it may depend on who one gets on the phone. I have notified LRL of what I was told in case they can chivvy TD. (I am assuming you are with TD UK and not the offshore version of TD). After my call they did at least mark a Corporate Action on my account and I assume others. Vickycatcat | vickycatcat
22/1/2014 16:29 | The funniest part was he asked why I was bothering since I had sold LRL today. I told him I held on the ex date and was fully expecting my LEN shares tomorrow! He went away to look up the dates and confirmed I was ok lol. | rcturner2
22/1/2014 16:18 | thanks rct | sos100
22/1/2014 15:21 | Right well I have just had a long discussion with tdw about what happens. They receive the shares from the registrar and will allocate them to client accounts as soon as they can (assuming they receive all the shares they expect). They reckon this will be completed no later than Friday and could be tomorrow. You can sell the shares at 8am tomorrow by phone (or later) if they are not in your online account, but you take the risk that they have the shares sorted by the T+3 settlement date. | rcturner2
22/1/2014 15:03 | to me it looks like they have lined up already a chinese mineral asset and some are in the know hence the buying interest... with regards to LEN, we have 8p cash and a gas asset under exploration process with another asset coming very soon... overall, pre-split, the co was hugely undervalued...around 30% below cash, without any value attributed to the assets....after the split and with new added assets and new (chinese) investors on board should allow market to apply better and realistic valuations... exciting times ahead... | pro_better
22/1/2014 14:11 | If len does trade like lrl then yes it should be at 20p will it? probably not tomorrow, but with $35m cash the share price is worth around 8p, lrl have $3m in cash and is worth around 0.70 so its trading at 3 times its cash, if len can trade double its cash then that gives an share price of circa 16p, plus len has more of a valuable asset than lrl plus a new team including former bp executive so in an ideal word if len can perform like lrl it should be well above 24p but we do not live in an ideal word so i would say 14-16p is quite reasonable thats if it can perfom like lrl, there are no guarantees, it may well trade at 6p, not long to find out | socktrade1
22/1/2014 13:58 | HSBC just advised me that my len holdings should appear and be tradeable on the online system tomorrow............ As to the share price of both tomorrow I sure as hell wont guess but something keeps telling me something is not right as I really wanted to sell lrl today at above 2 but didnt even though on a logical basis i dont see len at 20p tomorrow(x10 cash value)it just doesn't add up so I've done nothing which means will probably have done the wrong thing! | fergal7
22/1/2014 13:39 | It's all about the market cap, not the share price | useless23
22/1/2014 13:26 | thanks for the advice beaujolly. I use to be an etrade customer ,never had any of these types of problems.... | sos100
22/1/2014 13:15 | Selftrade were on the ball, TDW clueless HHUY^%^wits | melodrama
22/1/2014 13:11 | sos If you or anyone else has difficulties tomorrow with access to LEN shares then I would suggest an e mail telling your dealer what you wish to do with the shares and that you are making them responsible for any loss on any transaction you are unable to undertake. I can't say how that will pan out but it sets down a marker for any action you subsequently take. If you leave it just at a phone call/calls then although they will be recorded isn't in my opinion the same. I'm not suggesting that you don't try both btw. | beaujolly
22/1/2014 12:59 | don't think it will be very smooth with tdw. I use to hold shares in CAF spun off from my holding in WTI. If i remember correctly it took td nearly two weeks before those shares hit my account, of course the price had changed by then... | sos100 |
