30/6/2014 20:13 | Wonder if that is indeed Newmont completely out. They got a rotten price, but at least the overhang would be gone. The MMs will be laughing all the way, etc, etc,......... | bullsvbears
30/6/2014 18:43 | I bet it's newmont's sell. Here's hoping. Imagine where the share price would be if newmont hadn't sold?! | useless23
30/6/2014 18:14 | What is the 5mill trade??? | rpat2
30/6/2014 17:34 | Cool name.. lets hope the MM's 'canna take' the pressure | sidjameslaugh

30/6/2014 16:48 | looks like at last this may drift slowly back upto 10p+ especially if ZJ7 comes in positive....fingers crossed they find the gas eh ;O)) | sirraman
30/6/2014 16:48 | What was most significant about the AGM, which I attended, was the chairman's comment that directors were currently precluded from buying shares implying that a significant deal could be imminent. Recent share price activity and the fact the company has cleared the decks by the issue of performance shares suggests the much anticipated deal is indeed close. Fill your boots! | wiseacre
30/6/2014 15:32 | Looking interesting here. I have free'd up money for 150k. | sidjameslaugh
30/6/2014 14:35 | had a feeling it would tick up.Alot of buying so far today Hopefully we will get past 5p this week. | sos100
30/6/2014 12:43 | Back in real time, buying interest is picking up and a tick up on the offer. | bullsvbears
30/6/2014 12:30 | lol, what do you care? It was only 100k shares, £2k total. | rcturner2
30/6/2014 11:56 | Course you did. | hallow
30/6/2014 11:30 | I sold mine at 2p, couldn't see any point in continuing to hold. | rcturner2
30/6/2014 11:27 | Does anyone here still hold LRL?I do. | useless23
30/6/2014 09:23 | Well 5 is offset data! | diesel
30/6/2014 09:17 | I suspect that it may have been a data swap, after all LEN has decent information from their wells too, which could be useful data for a neighbouring driller. | rcturner2
30/6/2014 09:12 | maybe there is a partnership being sought with the firm that supplied the offset data ?? | sirraman
29/6/2014 23:26 | For those who need it. High quality offset well data is highly sought after by planners for optimizing their designs, and is also used retrospectively to benchmark performance. Offset data from competing companies is particularly coveted but very hard to obtain due to a profound reluctance by oil and gas operators to share their offset data with competitors. | wordog
29/6/2014 23:25 | Thanks vickycatcat, that clears a few things up and makes perfect sense. As mentioned previously well 5 was only flowed for 8 hours so there will definitely be a requirement for further flow testing to see HOW commercial it is. Thanks again. | wordog
29/6/2014 23:16 | PA is aiming for 15p because he is holding 500000 at. That price. That doesn't make it realistic. | wordog
29/6/2014 22:41 | Re post 1375: the key from the AGM (which I attended) and the source of the enthusiasm IMHO is the offset well data from the northern neighbours to the LEN PSC. That is a new development during the silent period since LEN was formed (and is testimony to the skills of the new team in building relationships with trade colleagues) and since the BoD was gathered. The key development has been that the new BoD have knowledge (how data was obtained was not stated) of offset well data which are very promising for the northern end of the LEN PSC. Apparently the neighbour has high flow rates, it was said. It was not stated which neighbour this was (and a new neighbour has come along recently due to licensing of an adjacent area to west and north which had not been allocated before, so maybe that). Hence the focus on zone 1 and well 8 and some obvious excitement I felt. Go to the wikipedia page on offset well data. Also (addressing some queries I have seen on this board re whether well 5 is to be re-tested etc) at the AGM it was stated at least twice that ZJS5 IS commercial, and that in the Chinese gas market is such that even what would be non-commercial wells in the US market are commercial in China. They did acknowledge that for proper working up for production one would do more work on well 5 but the commercial status was not said to be in question. Hence the emphasis is on re-testing ZJS7, and going for ZJS8 (probably come-what-may, was the impression at AGM). Well 6 was asked about but given the excitement over Zone 1 in the north, I had the impression 6 is well down the list of priorities. Why bother when there are better uses for the money? So, I am (very) long on LEN having studied every inch of this project carefully and am in for the long term (as I have been for some time). Sorry not in a position to post here more than very rarely or to post replies but hope this take on things helps since I have picked up that some things discussed here were helpfully covered at the AGM and it seems fair to share. Remember: the offset well data is the new factor. Nothing in this post is investment advice and it is provided merely as being of interest and I have no connection with LEN: DYOR. | vickycatcat
