I'd be surprised if that was the case. It was a normal AGM after all, that they are obliged to hold under the listing rules. Attracted buying interest, probably some of which was on margin and once that peters out it moves down fast through margin calls and weak holders selling.

All normal for AIM. It goes up, it goes down. We are still in the same situation, waiting for news on the testing programme and on a new deal. The cash is there, 6p a share. A very typical very volatile AIM O&G share.

Well done to those who off loaded at 5p, what a suck in, only good thing for me is that didnt get sucked in to average down.this share isn't bottom draw its in my waste bin for review 2015, trouble is my waste bin isnt big enough....what a load of s....
still this is AIM and occassionally even s....turns to gold or this case gas.

well, 7m shares left to be sold...

i guess if any postive news come by last q of the year only then we may see any meaningful and steady rise of the share price ...also with the condition the 7m shares would have been offloaded until then....

No one who holds shares in a company and talks it down especially when it's gone from 3p to nearly 6p ,please don't go down that road.


I personally just want to break even and I might just move on.

SOS I hold more than you can imagine, I am not deramping, would never buy even if it goes back to 1p. My predictions of 3p are more realistic than PA's 15p. What poor stuff are u talking about, Iam being realistic. I know it hurts to most of the day dreamers.

PA has successfully managed to lockin new ordinary shareholders for another year atleast. Successful official UK trip at our expense. Fire works over, back to 3p.

Ah well there goes my only concern from the AGM hype: that any share price increase would be used by Newmont to keep offloading. I really hope the company wait till they have gone before buying back shares.

FWIW Newmont is a gold producer. They presumably see some strategic value in owning speculative gold explorers but they are not, as far as I know, general investors and there is simply no reason for them to hang on to LEN post demerger.

So 6p for cash and say + 12p for the potential Business plan.

Conclusion - buy from the Newmont created bargain.

and likes of Newmont have a perfect record when its come to buying and selling...

if you don't have faith that we could potentially (in a few months time) be trading higher why even bother with this one?

Newmont probably tidying the books for the end of the financial year. Tax loss for them and they would have little interest now that the demerger has left them holding an O & G Explorer. I think we will see them continue an orderly exit over time.

Or was all the recent optimistic noise just a ruse to get them off the hook at a better price.

The current program will be the biggest factor on the share price. If we get good news from the current tests we will be off and running.

Nick we were trading at less than cash for a long period, maybe the market has woken up to that fact?

PA's expectation of 15p a share is no different to you stating that this will be back to 3p in just two weeks. However my head suggests PA might know a little more about what's going on behind the scenes than you.

So now we have expectations that can realistically be beaten rather than the other way round as in the recent past.

Cupra kid PA is enough to give you a positive statement, only he can explain his expectations of 15p a share in a binary game like this one. You tell me technically what has changed, has he seen the water converting to gas overnight?
