11/12/2020 09:40 | cordwainer30 Nov '20 - 19:37 - 7278 of 7299 Edit 0 1 0 Im pretty sure they'll still be negotiating in the early hours of New Years Day. And a resumption of lockdowns and other covid restrictions will be an excuse to extend even further. | cordwainer
11/12/2020 08:43 | Can see a horrible end to the day if no Brexit breakthrough comes today, nobody, or a lot of people will not want to hold over the week end with so much uncertainty, no deal and Monday it's tin hats on. | p0pper
10/12/2020 22:42 | What did we expect - Boris has been sacked twice for telling lies | williamcooper104
10/12/2020 22:28 | Sorry - but that's not true - we want a blanket zero tariff zero quota deal That's not what Canada got Previously this was called Canada Plus Plus - now Boris has taken to just calling it Canada Just as he misrepresents no deal as an "Australian deal"Just as Cummings drove 90 miles to test his eyes There has never in my lifetime been a more serially dishonest government | williamcooper104
10/12/2020 22:12 | WC, the UK asked for a similar deal to that offered by Canada, Barnier said no, and why would it take 3-7 years? If there is a deal already in place involving another country it cannot be beyond the EU and UK to put something similar in place. Don't be fooled by the UK mainstream media and their leftist bias. If we end up with no deal it won't be the fault of Boris although I'm sure that is how it will be spun. Anyway, I have put funds aside to buy more LGEN in the event of a no deal. wllm | wllmherk
10/12/2020 20:44 | Canada is a line by line tariffs and quotas deal - EU v happy to do this with U.K. - but would take 3-7 years - we said no to that - as would mean staying in EU regularity orbit for years or living for years on Yemen trading terms Don't listen to to the total lie that we are just aiming for what Canada got - that's completely factually incorrect Waiting for the wonderful trade deal with both US and China that we were promised | williamcooper104
10/12/2020 20:36 | Boris should walk away, we would be nuts to sign up to the EU's demands. Canada signed a trade deal with the EU in 2016, as far as I'm aware French fisherman don't have access to Canadian waters, nor does the European Court of Justice have the final say in trading disputes between the 2 countries and the 'level playing field' features relatively limited provisions within CETA. My preference would be a no-deal with trading on WTO rules. wllm | wllmherk
10/12/2020 16:17 | Let's hope we don't find out Monday how much is priced in :) | williamcooper104
10/12/2020 12:35 | There's a lot priced in | cl0ckw0rk0range
10/12/2020 12:16 | No deal and this totally tanks Question is no deal for how long Few months and then we get a recovery Anything else and have to question whole point of U.K. assets | williamcooper104
10/12/2020 11:37 | Added a few around these levels, will get more if it drops to 240 which is near the fib retracement target from 270. | mo123
08/12/2020 14:00 | NI protocol agreement is reportedly going well. Why bother if a no deal is on the cards? Brinkmanship and chicanery. Arrgh. | mo123
07/12/2020 22:02 | Wow! that’s jolly good of Doris and co and bound to sway things in our favour, let’s get Brexit done my a#se 🙄 | luderitz
07/12/2020 13:13 | Brexit: UK backs down and offers to drop clauses that will break international law in bid to break deadlock | mo123
07/12/2020 11:23 | Unfortunately our nutters in no10 are going to move this stock short term more than any chart | williamcooper104
07/12/2020 09:49 | Very good on the chart looks like £3 lining up after that breather | cl0ckw0rk0range
04/12/2020 12:23 | Plenty blue even Aviva... Why not L and G? | adelwire2
03/12/2020 12:38 | FT struggling again to get through that resistance level at 6470. Brussels officials are reportedly pushing for a UK-EU trade deal to be completed by tomorrow. Good luck with that and convincing Macron. | mo123
02/12/2020 15:32 | Bond market selloff continuing as 10 year yields climbing in US & UK, good news for UK financial sector as outlook for the $ next year is to weaken further. | mo123
01/12/2020 10:22 | I fear you may be right cordwainer... :(( | edmundshaw
30/11/2020 19:37 | Im pretty sure they'll still be negotiating in the early hours of New Years Day. And a resumption of lockdowns and other covid restrictions will be an excuse to extend even further. | cordwainer |
