18/12/2006 09:36 | Still working towards pre Christmas for results but can't be more specific. However, was told that Malcolm Wilson would be in the office tomorrow (Tues). So, Arthur, if you fancy bending his ear...... | langland
17/12/2006 10:01 | How come tne market makers have found so many shares to sell? | poacher45
17/12/2006 07:36 | arthur. best to confine ourselves to the stocks in question [cpl]!!! lol. certainly pg bought a tranche of this at the very lowest levels. nevertheless, at the point a 'concert party' was created he had been buying at 40 and 50pence + all history now and the regulatory police dont give s..t !!! am not sure you are correct: i think he maybe just about break even at this price taking into account the 13 pence distribution, and in terms of opportunity cost;a disaster.. | cg1953
14/12/2006 16:29 | Good spot, chaps. | langland
14/12/2006 16:22 | It´s been getting popular with the Fools lately, i´ve been banging on about Leeds for ages over there without getting much interest, but perhaps they´ve finally come round to my way of thinking. | arthur_lame_stocks
14/12/2006 16:13 | Motley Fool article. | doggy1
14/12/2006 16:01 | Has Leeds been tipped somewhere? There´s a flurry of small buys today. | arthur_lame_stocks
12/12/2006 17:07 | I´m a bit surprised to see the price drop after what appears to be mostly buying today. | arthur_lame_stocks
12/12/2006 13:28 | You're right Arthur, the value is there. If they announced that 10p was going to be returned to shareholders the price would immediately jump to about 30p. Unfortunately though it sounds like they are going to invest it. | hugepants
12/12/2006 10:05 | No not really Swiss Paul, I expect the results to be pretty good (although they may still show a small loss for the year due to the disposal of the leasing business I expect Hemmers to have done really well which is the important thing now). I wouldn´t like to have a guess on the current trading of Hemmers, although I can´t see any reason for it to be significantly worse than this year. I just get a bit fed up like any small shareholders that we´re always left waiting for an outer of the value that we´re convinced is in this company. I think it suits the two Swedes to see the price low so that they can keep buying back shares in the market at a discount to net assets. | arthur_lame_stocks
11/12/2006 17:58 | Arthur - why u expecting something bad? | swiss paul
11/12/2006 10:46 | The results should be out before Christmas, might even be out this week. I wonder if they´ll sneak them out on the last trading day before Christmas, just to make sure they are completely missed by the market for another year. | arthur_lame_stocks
06/12/2006 07:36 | never underestimate ldsg capacity to surprise and dissappoint !!! its legend !!! heres waiting nervously !!! caveat emptor. | cg1953
05/12/2006 19:00 | Interesting little punt in advance of the results, perhaps. | hectorp
05/12/2006 17:00 | Plenty of buying today, we might even see the price move again in anticipation of the results (due before Christmas apparantly). | arthur_lame_stocks
01/12/2006 10:24 | Arthur how about London Scottish Bank plenty of assets? | poacher45

30/11/2006 20:35 | I think this point has cropped before from memory - probably raised by you, Arthur! And i think you are right in your supposition (framed though it is as a question). | langland
30/11/2006 17:54 | Here´s a serious point for a change. If the value of the dollar has declined against the Euro over the last year (and over the last 6 months of this financial year) could this give a boost to Hemmers´ margins since I think they buy a lot of cloth from China and their currency is pegged to the dollar? | arthur_lame_stocks
29/11/2006 13:41 | Arthur "I can feel it in my water bracke," Too technical for me, so as you suggest I will not be taking your word for it. | bracke
29/11/2006 13:04 | Your too late again Arthur or is it Jack. | poacher45
29/11/2006 12:04 | I can feel it in my water bracke, but I wouldn´t take my word for it if I were you!!! | arthur_lame_stocks
29/11/2006 11:42 | Arthur_Lane_Stocks What good news are you expecting and why? | bracke
29/11/2006 10:47 | I´m going to have a punt and suggest that there is good news just around the corner for shareholders. | arthur_lame_stocks |
