26/4/2006 13:57 | Well, if Hemmers can show in the results that it is on target for 1mn+, that might get things going. | langland
26/4/2006 13:46 | I would have thought they are in a close period by now. I hope the results are out soon. So perhaps not the company buying in the share. It might just be somebody having a punt on the results. But you do have to wonder where all of the stock comes from. Surely the price has to move eventually. I´m sure these are worth 30-40p a share but when will we see it? | arthur_lame_stocks
26/4/2006 11:16 | Results are only a month away, tempted to wadge-up with a load before then. CR | cockneyrebel
26/4/2006 11:08 | Done at the full offer price as well. Yesterday the German business IFO survey was out which is still showing strong business conditions. Hope this augurs well for Hemmers results. | langland
26/4/2006 11:05 | any chance of charts in the header anyone | mykai
26/4/2006 10:57 | 250K buy - another buy back? CR | cockneyrebel
19/4/2006 18:19 | I think as per usual the results might be clouded a bit by exceptionals. "In view of the current low level of distributable reserves, the Directors do not propose a dividend for the year under review. Although a loss of approximately £830,000 on the disposal of Leeds Leasing will arise in the consolidated accounts for the year ending 30 September 2006, the Parent Company will record a profit on disposal of approximately £3,450,000 which will substantially improve the distributable reserves position, and the Board will take that into account in determining future dividend policy." | arthur_lame_stocks
19/4/2006 16:13 | I am hoping that they will get the interims out a bit earlier this time since there is only one trading subsidiary now....should be much easier. | langland
19/4/2006 15:53 | Looking back Leeds release their interims usually sometime in the last 2 weeks of May.So 4 or 5 weeks from now. Hopefully the new cash-rich balance sheet and confirmation of strong trading continueing will see this sleepy share re-rated! And if you look at the last dozen or so RNS's its all good news; either share buybacks, directors buying, strong trading updates etc. | hugepants

06/4/2006 15:32 | I guess the end of the tax year may have seen some people realising some gains, Leeds have had a good year really. Anyway it´s good to know that the company and the directors see value at these prices. | arthur_lame_stocks
06/4/2006 12:08 | It's very clever how the company buys its shares, so does Claessen and now these brothers. Where do these shares come from? Answers on a postcard please to.... | langland
05/4/2006 17:07 | Well a few more trades than usual. I´m not sure they actually are in a close period though. According to the FSA handbook: "if the listed company reports on a half-yearly basis, the period of 60 days immediately preceding the publication of the half-yearly report in accordance with LR 9.9.3 R or, if shorter the period from the end of the relevant financial period up to and including the time of such publication" So potentially, if the interims aren´t due for more than 60 days, they could still be buying back their shares, I think. Claessons recent purchase does suggest that we´re not about to see some corporate action, however. | arthur_lame_stocks
05/4/2006 16:48 | So, what do we make of all the trades today? Strange for LDSG. Can't be any company involvement since it's the close period. | langland
05/4/2006 07:48 | Arthur, The announcement states that the company was informed on 30 March. He could have bought the shares weeks ago. CG, Agree this company has no place in the public domain...but will we get a decent price for our shares. | langland
05/4/2006 05:32 | conflict of interest or insider trading ? ? when a small company such as this buying in its own shares and then a director [controlling shareholder]also buying more stock. imo all very questionable. the sooner this company is taken private, the better; as it should have been over 5 years ago. it has no place in the public domain. | cg1953
04/4/2006 20:18 | Sometimes Arthur large brokers dont put a deal through the market if they can match it up with a buyer. | poacher45
04/4/2006 19:47 | There was no trade reported for 275k on the 30th as far as I can see. I wonder where he got the stock from? | arthur_lame_stocks

31/3/2006 12:25 | That's very interesting. They have just paid 21 for 100k. Shows some confidence at the half year. | langland
24/3/2006 16:44 | It looks like 200k at 19.75. Hopefully that´s the company buying back their shares. | arthur_lame_stocks
23/3/2006 16:56 | Did 153k trade really go through at 17.5p today. I hope the company continue to buy back the shares and don´t let the price drift back down to the mid teens. | arthur_lame_stocks
14/3/2006 09:48 | arthur. you bought at the right price. i,at the wrong price. nevertheless so many serious questions with this company all of which have been illuminated on this thread. mislead. undue influence. conflicts of interest. what can you possibly, honestly, say in its defence ? i repeat. caveat emptor. | cg1953
11/3/2006 18:08 | Now I know why you´re so down on them all the time. They´ve been pretty good to me over the last 3 years. | arthur_lame_stocks
11/3/2006 05:35 | 30 pence for my remaining block. then i will be just be below break even on cost 6 years ago !!! what a disaster this has been. | cg1953 |
