If the latter is true that would show confidence on their part of their offer's acceptance, I'd have thought.

Encouraging to see almost 10m shares traded - with presumably lots of profit-taking - and despite this the share price rising through the day, which perhaps suggests some further interest here.

Of course it could be TVH buying up shares themselves.

Price action indicates that we're moving closer to either acceptance or an improved offer. spud

has Prudential at almost 19%. Presumably they turned down 205p, and if they're not willing to sell, doesn't that mean that it's going to be v difficult to gain 75% acceptances?

thanks for posting note. Says chance of another offer "slim" but that there is private equity interest in the sector....so can management or institutions eke out another 10p or so or not?

If there aren't any additional buyers I'd cash out now. ETO were approached by ITV and wouldn't play ball. ITV walked and the share price tanked.

Easy for me to say though, I don't have any money on the line. Having said that, if I still had my original holding from 128p, I'd deffo be hovering my finger over that sell button today. Bird in the hand and all that...

Enterprise value of around £0.5bn at the offer price - net debt quite high here. I'm not averse to letting mine go at 205p. One of the most frustrating shares I've ever held but value outed in the end imo.

It isn't just the management. They haven't persuaded enough institutions to accept, hence going hostile. Should bring any others out of the woodwork.

I guess the Management are worried about their continuing positions/employment. They've not exactly been successful in proactively promoting the Company as reflected by an ongoing languishing of the share price over a number of years & if it was me, i'd put each and every one of them under the microscope.

I'm all for the 205p bid. Any more is greedy. I'm just not prepared to take the hit on the MMs Bid.

Reading the offer terms, the board initially rejected the third & final offer proposal.then TVH changed the offer terms to protect staff & their pensions,it reads Hostile to me.

Nice bid.

Very well deserved by holders here.

One of the most frustrating quality stocks on the market, which had languished far too long.

Well done!

What a nice surprise waking up to that, well done to all those who believed,a lot of infrastructure spend going forward so maybe an opportunistic offer, still looks to cheap to me.

Brexit, market sentiment and the weak £ has made some of our stock market companies look extremely cheap and attractive to foreign buyers imo. I expect to see an increase in takeover activity.

I am sure TVH will start mopping up shares at a discount to their offer price. I can't see this staying at a discount for too much longer. The shares were fundamentally cheap yesterday. 250 would still not be overly expensive for the right buyer.

That's one way to break through 140p!! Happy days!! though it will be interesting to see if we can get another player in to get the share price well through 205 as it doesn't look as if the 205 bid will be enough (IMHO) and it remains to be seen what happens if it comes off the table.

I researched this company over the weekend and bought a few shares yesterday with a view to the long term. Obviously should have bought some more!

Think I will sit tight and see how this plays out for now. The market's a bit cautious with a price of around 185 against the offer price of 205p. I'll wait and take the risk of it falling through.
