great, so hopefully they are now searching for a higher bid...let's see.....interesting that bid was made with very few irrevocables IMO....and no board approval. Suggests there is still room and be interesting to see whether market thinks that as well when opens...

always thought it was oddly valued given the RNSs coming out and infrastructure spend expectations, but I was waiting for the Autumn statement for a boost not a TO! Defo think a competitor could come in here, but £2.05 would also be good....surprised no RNS from management yet...

The appearance of a rival bidder would be nice if that's not being too greedy !

heliweli - Don't know who you use but you might be interested to know that I checked with Barclays stockbrokers and the spread was 0.5p; 139.6 and 139.1.

Ideally it stays in the the late 1.30s until such time as the moving averages turn up. Or test support again at 1.30. That's my calculation around timing, and I often get it wrong! But the basing pattern seems to be in.
