Well, I've picked up a few more of these today as I think these still have much further to go...I think their trading statement was, in the context of the appalling December weather, awesome but as always, time will tell all.

cant see how theres going to be any more news coming out
that would make this race towards 30p, it could be
a gradual thing through the year. There would have to
be a double dip to the economy for this to go back below 20p,
oh dear, best shut up now, just dont get carried away thats all.
Take a look at the long term chart, can the latest surge be sustained ?

That's my view too CR - given the announcements by many retailers relating to snow hampered trading, for ALY to make such a strong TS is remarkable; hence if now, how good can it get when the economy strengthens?

This is the chart you want to watch - if this is the revival of Laura Ashley. Like this is when things are tough - what will it be like when there's a stronger retail sector or next Christmas' sales are compared with the snow impaired results of this Christmas.

FCCN on the revival, perhaps these are too.

Boys..enough of the jam and crumpet chat. Are you on the wrong kind of bulletin board?

Short term (6months) re-rating target could be about 30p. If pre-tax forecast is now around £18m, eps could be 1.7p and p/e is around 17.5 which seems fair value for a strongly recovering company.

All imho etc.
