shaking out the 155 brigade, just as it did the 145 brigade... consolidation and then climb, softly softly then boom, gently gently then bang...

mf - spoken like Sir Humphrey to Jim Hacker!

If those pesky sellers around the 155p-ish level would sit on their hands, they might get us all to the 160s!! Otherwise we need VOLUME.

I'm a lawyer, "some time" could mean anything. Just like you can always say that there are "a number of reasons" why you have reached a decision. When challenged to name one (which rarely happens), you can then always say the number was "zero" and you don't need to justify yourself. Works a treat with kids!

Fully agree with your sentiment, share price has often got very jumpy late afternoon. Patience, patience...

mf Not so sure about the time factor!! My feeling is that positive news is just around the corner and could happen any time soon. I base this on the strong support there has been for the share price - every time there is even a small fall it quickly recovers. Patience is certainly required in huge amounts with LAM but I do think we will all be rewarded eventually

agreed, looks like we have to wait for some time after I shut up before we will get a meaningful breakout.

mf Please do not post again till AFTER the meaningful breakout. We were going along nicely yesterday until your post which set us back. You are to blame LOL

What a tease! It does look like the selling may dry up sooner rather than later but this is LAM; if we were to invent a new language then LAM would be the word for patience !!!!

The potential for 2 more similar orders within the next six months equates to $1B but the market seems to have ignored it so far

blimey it is hard to second guess this one - I had expected this morning's actions to be the prelude to a big run up this afternoon, but instead it has pulled back
oh well, lets see what the US opening brings: can't help but feel a company with a big cash pile will snap us up if the management dont

Lads - control yourselves for goodness sake. The share price has for the first time in many months passed through 150p. The question is will it stay above this level. Surely after the never ending wait for the share price to rise we have at last something to reward our patience. Personally the manner in which Moffat is taking the company forward fills me with optimism and I for one would not like to see a bid of 200p. I am looking for a reinstatement of the dividend in the next 12months or so and a few more juicy contracts - although the reaction to the last RNS was not exactly overwhelming
