16/4/2014 09:09 | Forget the price for a minute, how can there only be 50k shares traded in the first hour the morning after a huge order is announced? How can JPM lower their target price, while staying overweight, to 165p? The answer may lie in the company not peddling itself among the ANALysts: which is worrying Malcy. It's a curious situation but no doubt it will be resolved in due course. Are Canaccord sniffing around to pick up the business and "upsetting" JPM? Who knows? JMHO | plunger2
15/4/2014 19:58 | Amen plunger, Any news that has been awaited has not affected the price in a year, JM spoke of three deals awaiting confirmation, divis will be key along with for me some director buying if your out there reading this! | deanowls
15/4/2014 19:22 | Tod - I'd not be worried in the slightest. This order vindicates all the puff from J Moffat. And don't be surprised if more follow. LAM is no longer a widely held stock. As we know even from these boards many leaves fell from the tree. Same with the analysts - they just lost interest. So my take is that it will take a little time for real buying to emerge. It might be this week/ next week or next month - who cares once it happens. And it should happen, because we get nearer and nearer to a return to dividends and thereafter a re-instatement of our FTSE 250 status. We have now demonstrably moved from the beginning of the end to the end of the beginning. Watch this space. JMHO GLA. | plunger2
15/4/2014 17:31 | Disagree with you Brando The rise WAS muted in that the share price only rose a total of 5p on this excellent news followed immediately by selling thereby bringing the share price back to the start. | todismypal
15/4/2014 16:52 | the initial response was not muted... what then dampened it was someone selling into the rise i think | brando69
15/4/2014 16:46 | Very surprised at the muted response to the latest RNS. The contract RNS we have been waiting for - for months and we end the day up 0.5p. | todismypal
15/4/2014 16:40 | i think we might have a stale bear at the 150 mark, as the price moved down sharply off that level before... let them clear out and then hopefully the price will start reflecting the news | brando69
15/4/2014 16:38 | Great news at last - and rubbish response from the share price (so far). Still if they can win one they can win more so happy to keep holding these. UT it's been a very long wait! | davr0s
15/4/2014 16:26 | edgy market people selling into spikes wherever they appear | brando69
15/4/2014 16:14 | Yes, being kept down for someone. dyor regards active | srpactive
15/4/2014 16:13 | OK, the share price has drifted up over the past week or two, but after an initial burst post RNS, it's now back to exactly where it was before the good news! It really is the most frustrating share I've ever owned. | trigger blade
15/4/2014 14:47 | it was in the air, wasn't it... the chart was giving us clues for the last week | brando69
15/4/2014 14:42 | contract worth $390m over 2 years with an option for the same again. Well done indeed. | mad foetus
15/4/2014 14:39 | Allelujah! At last some good news out of a pretty awfull few days for my portfolio. Holding strong on all, time will tell if it's the right thing or not. Well done Lamps! Contract has nice additional options too. GLA | cheaky monkey
15/4/2014 14:29 | Excellent contract win just announced. | broadwood
15/4/2014 13:00 | Dean - yeah, ignore that... senior moment | brando69
15/4/2014 12:05 | Sorry Brando, how is it a US company? Management are on the whole UK. | deanowls
15/4/2014 11:58 | Ok, thanks. | bgwesley
15/4/2014 11:49 | it's a US company to all intents and purposes, so the interest Stateside isn't that much of a surprise per se. | brando69
15/4/2014 11:45 | Why the interest from the USA? Would they have info on orders? There was speculation of a bid from General Electric - with their large cash-pile to be invested overseas. But that was over a year ago. | bgwesley
15/4/2014 11:37 | no volume to speak of... i suspect the demand is all coming from USA | brando69
15/4/2014 11:18 | Me too, Brando69. Wouldn't say no to 200p. | bgwesley
15/4/2014 11:02 | i would settle for 200p | brando69
15/4/2014 09:51 | Looks like we may have got past 145p. What next, brando69..... blue skies to 350p? We can live in hope! :-) | bgwesley |
