Mr Naked Trader refers to use of SUK2 at least in the 5th ed./2019 I have. But in all my discontinuous trading in SUK2 since ca. 2009 I've only ever made a net loss. Seems impossible to use as a hedge in my limited technical knowledge - spread betting a workable method instead? I see some current tech talk on LondSE.

FTSE putting in a double top I suspect, then taking the elevator down.

The upside can't be more than a few percent from here in all seriousness, which makes this a leveraged assymetric bet of the type one dreams about.

Top up opportunity incoming around 411 on the current market rally or for the patient sub 400 still likely while the masses believe t'is but a blip.

Time to take profit on some. Sterling drop finally slowing, a bounce against the Euro today. Markets could see a glimpse of optimism from this with many grasping for any sign of a positive from the mire.

Decent entry point, though sub 370 still possible imo. Might be an idea to trickle feed depending on trade size of course.

Keep harvesting profits on the rises and buying back when the markets have a rare good day. I fear there will be a lack of money for investment here as well as anywhere else the way things are heading. GLA

Putting 10% of my portfolio into this is proving worthwhile currently

With all what’s going on with the economy and the rest of the world I can’t help but think these will start to move up as rising utility bills and rising interest rates start to erode house holds spend

Patience. Wait on the gold turn and dollar strength or this dropping at least another 5pts before topping up.

with Inflation raging, interest rates starting to rise, rising living costs which will lead to lack of money in the public spend, is now the time to re-buy??

How does this end up by 0.6% when FTSE is down by 0.5% - surely should be up by 1% ? Or am I still missing something ?

Historically, if this is not the end of the world in this current format, then we are in a giant bull market from 3461 in 2009, wave 1 till 7904, now in Wave 2 down in an ABA wave till 4389, that would make sense, the world will be down but not out, rescued by the metaverse and Omniverse.

Wave 1 7904 till 4899, equal to 3005 points, bounced back in Wave 2 to 7403, equal to 2504 points, 2504/3005=83.33%, now two bearish targets: one is in an ABC pattern, A=C, targeting 4398; another is a Wave 1-5, targeting 2511, sounds almost like the end of the world kind of nightmare for the UK stock market. I will focus on 4398 for now, DYOR. Trigger
