Looks like UKX has a classic bearish pattern of M+A, we are at the top of A, this could be the formation of a giant bear market, we have had our wave 1 down, now finishing this massive bounce- back Wave 2, the most bearish Wave 3 is just about to kick off. I am 50% on SUK2 and 50% on Meta and Omni Verse, see how it goes. DYOR. Trigger

I'll be amazed if we get leverage like this when the tide turns and the FTSE starts to correct

Down 1.2% yet index is up .02% currently - so it's leveraged x6...eh ?

Baffled - FTSE and SUK2 both down 0.2% on the day. What happened to the 2x inverse correlation ?

Very strange - FTSE100 is currently down 0.3% and SUK2 is up 0.3%. Surely it should be up 0.6% ??

If you don't like spread betting as to punchy on the ftse ,you get stoped to often ! The Suk2 and Luk2 give you a punchy return and the gaps on the charts can make you a bit of money - the gaps always getFilled I use them as a hedge and tops my pot up . Dyor

2blue, I just had a quick look on the daily scale last market price based chart. There are quite a few gaps. Which do you have in mind for trading?

I thought the second national lockdown would be the last straw, but obvs I was wrong.

"It seems that investors have fully moved past Boris Johnson’s latest restrictions, even if they are the most severe since the initial lockdown in March 2020. Overfamiliarity tends to breed apathy in the markets, and that is just as true of covid-19 headlines - which are more alarming now than they have been at any point in the pandemic - as it is of lockdowns. That and it appears the pull of the New Year’s vaccine hopes are stronger than any concerns over the economic impact of these fresh measures."

The FTSE 100 lagged way behind the Dow for 2020.
With the uncertainty of Brexit out of the way and light at the end of the COVID tunnel.
Along with the end of the Trump era in the US, I see a move out of the Dow and a rotation into the FTSE 100.
For that reason I’ve ditched my SUK2 and am in it’s inverse LUK2.

No one fancy a ftse short yet? To early with vaccine roll out news and a potential January rally?
