Mali has a well developed mining/resource exploration industry especially in gold and phosphate. Is the third largest gold producer in Africa after South Africa and Ghana . Lots of reputable companies operate there and has been almost no disruption to their operations despite the history of political turbulence. I expect this licence to be granted this summer as todays news is very significant
