21/11/2014 12:57 | The 'issue' remains that Kibo has never put out prospective numbers to what their projects could generate in terms of cash-flows, profit or value. Coetzee said, in answer to a direct question at the recent presentation, that no-one would believe them and investors could work out the values for themselves. In my view this is wrong. On the whole it is the retail punter that drives your share price, most retail punters cannot even work out P/E ratio's and how market cap is equated, let alone complex project valuations. The company should have put out numbers via their broker. The coal/power project is extremely complicated but thanks to Ncondezi Energy we know that... A 300MW power plant would generate EBITDA of $130m per annum The coal mining side could generate EBITDA of $35m At Imweru (gold) a low cost operation could produce profits before tax of $75m over 36 months based on 40,000oz annual production. The above are very significant numbers and Kibo will retain a large share in those projects. It is clear that Kibo is MATERIALLY under-valued, the 'issue' is that until it is presented to the market (via the CPR's) in black and white only the shrewd sophisticated investor will gain materially by buying in ahead of these announcements.
