We will have one major shareholder shortly...

Following completion of the Subscription, Metal Tiger will become a significant shareholder in Kibo with a beneficial interest in 3.67% of Kibo’s issued share capital.

I have a feeling we might get a holdings RNS or two once the dust settles.

I'd love to see the JV coming out tomorrow at 7am. Can you imagine all those doubters and those waiting on the sidelines ?

This post from LSE gives a good guide as to what Rukwa coal/power could do for Kibo and it's shareholders. Obviously there will be some dilution on the way but the numbers 50p+ (compared to the current share price) are staggering

Post from HFO on another board:

Following recent updates on project economics I have revised my valuations on the Rukwa coal to power project (for ease based in UKP)

It is clear that the proposed JV partner adopts a policy of not signing a formal JV until certain studies have been completed.

Kibo Mining are concluding these studies and an announcement is due.

It will be in the interest of the JV partner to conclude quickly to ensure first user advantage in Tanzania

The coal mining operation alone could generate annual profit of £20m based on annual revenues of about £60m on 1.5m tonnes/per annum

I revise my earlier annual profit forecast on power generation to £85m on 300MW plant

I assume Kibo Mining will retain 15% of power generation and 90% of the coal mine

My valuation is based on a fully diluted 285m shares in issue and a PE consistent with PLC energy plays of 5

I expect to see a cash injection into Kibo Mining as a result of the percentage 'sale' of the power operation, this could range £30m - £40m

Based on the above (not accounting for the possible forward cash) my valuation of Kibo Mining's Rukwa coal/power project is....

57p per Kibo share

The 16m shares traded here on Friday (on news of Kibo's fourth ranking asset says it all IMHO, there is real interest here. I believe it was the biggest volume day here ever (post consolidation). That was ISDX and LSE Combined.

Two PFS's and a monster JV before Xmas, should be good.

That's exactly what Zak Mir said a while back when we were up at 1.8 or so.

Interesting week ahead.

Kibo looking more interesting.

Failed to break below the August low and has rebounded and actually closed back above resistance at 1.6p.

Found a bit of resistance at the 100ma and a previous support line which is is to be expected.

Does look like it wants to go higher. 4p is the target if it can break the downtrend line and 2.25p/2.5p.

Yesterday this thread saw it's highest number of visitors since it was created in March 2013. This month has already exceeded last months record number of visitors, up by 30% so far.

There is no doubt the investment community has Kibo Mining in it's sight.

The company remains materially undervalued, the tiny market cap of £4.3m cannot last, the re-rating will continue IMO.

Demand for the shares tomorrow should be high.
