14/10/2019 15:00 | You can't compare VAST with KIBO. VAST will have 2 world class mines producing by New Year and alot of FCF.Whilst I agree with buying at the cheapest the problem with KIBO is determining just that. What does cheap look like. You could still lose 50% here over the next 6 months even at the prices. It's sad to see but a handful have invested pensions and life savings into KIBO to lose 80% of it to know. I feel sorry for their families as there is no guarantees of this ever coming back even if you left 5 years or more. It's a truly sad position and I feel for those investors. | aimomniscient
14/10/2019 08:56 | JC You don't seem to have grasped the point. Nor that VAST is a totally different case. No wonder so many pi's loose their shirts | lurker5
14/10/2019 08:18 | The Company said earlier this year that one of the small-scale "shovel-ready" energy Projects would be completed in early 2020 and start delivering revenue to Kibo. I wait with baited breath Louis...... | yidarmytom
14/10/2019 08:16 | at least the projects are "shovel-ready" | yidarmytom
13/10/2019 23:48 | people should stop whinging and average down..you can make alot more by buying at the bottom..look at VAST up 300% from the bottom..likewise PREM | johncasey
13/10/2019 22:42 | Maybe it is but the Question is can you trust the CEO ?He's not got one project over the line and has demolished the share price by 95%Apart from that the BOD have took £500,000 while the other 1 million is under writtenI cannot see it going any lower but can LC ever be trusted again ?I am tempted here myself but i would love this Bandit to be shown the doorThe MICE | catchingmice
13/10/2019 15:45 | kibo is more than coal mate..check their website | johncasey
13/10/2019 15:35 | forget coal, timberrrrrrrrrrrr more like | yidarmytom
13/10/2019 13:47 | 10 bag would only make it £50m market cap..its listed has £3.5 at the moment but i dont think that includes £1.5m fund raising | johncasey
12/10/2019 19:05 | Dear oh Dear ! Another newbie victim of delusions (although I wouldn't expect someone unversed in investment analysis and how 'projects' aren't 'owned' by their 'sponsors' - which is what Kibo is - but only by whoever puts up the money to develop and build them) ! - '10 bag' would make Kibo a £60m market cap. Even if the £1.5m cash materialises (wait to see whether punters take up the 'offer' by Oct 16) Kibo will still have a £1m deficit in liquid assets or working capital (£2.1m deficit @June 2019 plus £460,000 3 months cash burn, less £1.5m from placing), which means it is always at risk of bankruptcy, plus a 'intangible' asset coal mine that would only have its $28.6m 'value' if its MCPP customer actually is paid for (by other investors) and is actually built. If it isn't, the mine has no customers beyond a few local Steptoes or Del Boys (and a cement factory nowhere near as coal hungry as a power station). It will take years before any cross-border power sales can happen, and the present bankable feasibility study for a 350MW station will probably be rendered out of date by different tariff regimes that will probably apply. Which means that Sepco won't ever pay Kibo its $3.5m contribution That contribution would be a drop in the ocean anyway, and meanwhile the only way Kibo can build its balance sheet to justify an equivalent market cap is to 1) earn profits. (as if !) and 2) keep calling on investors to inject more cash. But with a $1.5m annual cash burn (before any development spending;) before even the first (Benga?) project delivers any cash dividend to Kibo (Not before six years time) Kibo will have to raise near another £10m (nearly twice its current cap) just to keep going. (And what blatant dishonesty to have said no plans to raise funds and only 16 days later to make the most diluting share issue ever) Maybe Med will deliver some income, but peanuts compared with £10m. At the most, on here we've estimated that Bordersley might deliver £350,000 pa (starting in 6 months) and maybe the others will build up. But when - and at what cost ? Undermining it all, LC seemingly has no idea where he is heading. Even if his three coal plants are built, they'll be 'owned' by the majority who put up their c $2bn capex, and Kibo will only get a notional and tiny share' of their income but not any cash until the majority pay a dividend for themselves and Kibo. Without any cash income, Kibo won't be valued in the market at any more than its tangible asset balance sheet and won't be given much credit for its minority share of its projects' profits. It all adds up to an 'unsustainable', Kibo which will only be kept afloat if the Wheezer in Chief finds yet more newbie pi's to keep him in cigars, at lower and lower share prices. But I doubt there are any left in the UK As for the hilarious 'Novus arranged' Audioboom podcast ! 'Revenue due in between six months and four years ! (what an enormous spread ! - what enormous scope to be proved right even if actually wrong !) All that is why the new thread I'll start will be entitled 'Kibo's Death Spiral' - the only question is how long will shareholders endure it before 'Das Ende' ! (Gotterdammerung for those with an operatic bent !) | lurker5

12/10/2019 13:06 | Like I said before I wish I could claim to be Sonic but alas I am not. Sorry to disappoint. To be frank I was talked into coming online by my 40 year old son and to be honest Im rather regretting it now. No wonder none has any interest in this share though, it's boards are terrible across all platforms. It's hardly an advert for the company either. | aimomniscient
12/10/2019 11:45 | LOLOf course he is SONIC read his posts on LSE it's not rocket Science chimp100% it is SONIC | catchingmice
12/10/2019 03:10 | A 10 bag is very unlikely with the markets at present, that and the warrants being flipped, along with Sanderson et al dumping for their 10% it's going to take a while to wade through it all, plus then there's capex to consider for the projects. That being said there's a trade in it here at the right prices. | cl0ckw0rk0range
11/10/2019 23:51 | nice 10 bagger soon..easy money | johncasey

11/10/2019 23:01 | Sound advice again from sonic, boom boom. Chimp you are Ken and AIMO is sonic. Chump why did you make only 3 posts on a UKOG thread, each post used the phrase Lemmings and mushrooms? KenChung posts frequently on UKOG and most of his posts, irrespective of which thread, use that same phrase, Lemmings and mushrooms. | uknighted |
