06/8/2019 07:26 | Disagree and agree with ukn Replacing one asset - illiquid, with no absolute value with an asset which is liquid and has a face value - cash. Many companies do that, either with their goods or services or amalgamed versions of them - projects. Dilution is when non owners get a chunk of the business. Anyway, it doesn't matter as long as KIBO can deliver that. And I believe it can! lurker5 5 Aug '19 - 17:03 - 1906 of 1907 0 0 0 Selling part of a project is dilution by another name. uknighted 5 Aug '19 - 17:20 - 1907 of 1907 0 1 0 Selling part of a project is swapping a non-cash asset for a cash asset. No dilution there. | yaki

05/8/2019 14:52 | Dilution, yes. But KIBO will have cash rather than what you said. And not necessarily dilution, as Kibo can always sell a % of a project rather than keep buying like the Sands 2.5% in MCPP (AAAARGH). And no agenda from me. I am an investor here so I believe in the company and its management. I just want to make sure that given the dire share price, shady characters don't over egg the pudding, that's all! lurker5 5 Aug '19 - 14:21 - 1904 of 1904 0 0 0 Sands credit facility means yet more Kibo dilution. You still don't see the point. My only 'agenda' is to post relevant facts. What's yours ? | yaki

05/8/2019 10:13 | Not true, KIBO has the Sands credit facility, 1m+ un-drawn yet. Also either of STEAG/Sepco/GE could chip in, if the opportunity is too good! lurker5 5 Aug '19 - 09:15 - 1900 of 1900 0 0 0 Kibo hasn't the cash for ANY deal ! That's the point. | yaki

05/8/2019 08:45 | Kibo needs just 1 deal through PPA and FC, and the current price will look really silly. My money is happening and a mix of Benga and MED. | yaki
04/8/2019 21:23 | If not wound up it will have to be restructured or recapitalised in some way. Or maybe taken private (at a peanut price) by the three Caballeros now in charge. In any event almost wiping out the last remaining diehard (cloth-brained) clappy shareholders. | lurker5
04/8/2019 16:36 | I see no investment case here, the cash position must now be very dire. The company really does need to wind itself up instead of winding shareholders up in my view. | nerdofsteel

29/7/2019 18:48 | Back a week tomorrow in Norway then finish for good mid september. It's not for the MICE so back home down the old smoke soon. | catchingmice
29/7/2019 18:44 | Cm I don’t hold LC 100% responsible. I agree that he must accept a large portion but who could foresee the inconsistency of the TG? I do believe that the actions he has taken recently (MED, Botswana and Mozambique) will eventually improve the business and, maybe, just maybe, there is still something to be gained from the MCPP. In retrospect it is easy to say it was a bad investment decision to buy Kibo shares when I did but I do believe my investment here will come good - in time. I am prepared to wait while my other investments bring me some capital appreciation. Meantime I “survive” As Freddie Mercury said “it’s a hard life” meanwhile you have to shuffle between Norway and the UK. | uknighted |
