The issuance of shares to the equity investor requires shareholder approval, hence targeting the AGM for that purpose.

If it comes good there's obviously a good return investing in Kefi shares. Probably considerably better than investing in TK finance. 30 million might become, 150 million and so I can see a scenario where those closer to the action want to stock up. I've said before this 2p business has the hallmark of trading in the background, somewhat borne out by todays share price action.

Think as they have to an AGM of some kind makes sense to use it plus the company hoping or expecting good news that would certainly help the mood with an AGM especially if it’s one of the normal pre covid type ones that people can attend in person with some rotten fruit or eggs.

Yes, companies do finance deals without an AGM/EGM, but they could only do so where they have sufficient cash and/or shares in the treasury. In Kefi's case, neither of these would apply.

The aim is to agree the terms by the end of May, but there can be no completion until the AGM in June provides the authority to issue the new additional shares required for completion. As I said, it is really quite simple. They are obliged by AIM rules to have an AGM in June and it is sensible to use this for the necessary authority. It would be rather stupid to have an EGM for such approval with the necessary AGM so close.

Think the village will be for it anyone that get moved will be financially better off as well as jobs in the local area. Certainly not in the national interest or regional interest to stuff things up either could just be one individual somewhere with an agenda.

It really is quite simple. The RNS states that funding plans are currently on track for a June completion. Either you believe that or you don't.

Well Aviator worst case Kefi could still get a letter but looks like that a total of twelve companies are getting one as well. Also if the present rate of companies losing licences was maintained soon the Ethiopians would not have any left.

Middle case someone is just trying to put pressure on Kefi maybe to influence the shape of the deal or get it done before the election.

Best case letter does not even get sent and any problem is sorted behind the scenes.

All of the cases can be over ridden really by the deal getting done and certainly if harry or the company needed a kick up the rear they have got one now.

buying back at 2.07, scare mongers, got their pennies worth. It is easier to manipulate a price down than up, to get what you want!!!! i.e. more shares a good sign IMO.
