The average time for a new mine, from discovery to production is about 30 years. SAPIE, an Italian mining company, carried out commercial scale hydro-mining at the Tulu Kapi mine during 1930s. I'm saying nowt! :-) :-) <<<<< | taxlosstone

15/4/2021 13:02 | Wow, you spend so much time looking for negatives! Have you even thought about enjoying life? Just a little? Every now and then? | shortarm

15/4/2021 12:35 | @taxlosstone - it was deliberately left blank because Harry has NO IDEA when things will get signed off by! LMFAO! Harry giving TW all this insider information? I doubt it. Look what happened only last week! Sigh..... | sussexlibran1
15/4/2021 12:34 | Sorry only reposted from lse poster who posted extracts, with kefi you always have to fill in the dots :-) | robjm66
15/4/2021 12:26 | Now I spoke to arry and he says banks will sign off this month and he will thus get all consents and all forms sorted by the end of .......Is it a quiz? Do we fill in the dots? Any suggestions? :-) | taxlosstone
15/4/2021 12:10 | robjm66, thanks for posting the TW article. 'all forms sorted by the end of..' - April as per the 'this month' reference? | makka pakka
15/4/2021 11:31 | Topicel mine kitco is frozen also same date. John | 3690john

15/4/2021 11:03 | In my opinion the copper project is worth more than the gold one, my prediction for the feasibility study will be for a 3m tpa project costing 250m usd to get built producing 30k of copper a year with ebitda of 150m usd a year, if they can get bank funding, which they should , the kefi share of the project should be worth 5-10p a share easily... easy to get fed up with the slow pace of getting things done but both these projects are moving ahead.... | catsick
15/4/2021 10:45 | From lse kefi board (dvharrison) Interesting read from TW this morning. Extract below; It strikes that while Kefi is on track on the ground in its documentation it is a bit behind schedule and after a long history of delays some folks have stopped believing Harry Adams. That is why the shares slipped on this news to c 1.9p. Now I spoke to ‘arry and he says banks will sign off this month and he will thus get all consents and all forms sorted by the end of Well I have waited long enough I can wait a bit more. I still have faith Harry will deliver and if so the shares will race. 65% ownership of Tulu Kapi has to be worth 6-9p per share depending on which gold price assumption one uses. Hawiah in Saudi is worth more. So when folks believe in Harry once again these shares will roof it. And that makes them, at this level, a very strong buy indeed. | robjm66
15/4/2021 10:23 | I absolutely believe that Gold will breech the 2k USD level before year end...CPI in US is annualising at 2.6% (likely going higher) and 10 year bond yields falling at 1.66...so real yield negative -1%...before trillions more money to come in Bidens super infrastructure project (even though most has nothing to do with infrastructure)....C | belfastboyo
15/4/2021 10:20 | Talking of the gold price, anyone else have the Kitco ticker at the top frozen since 12th April at $1730? Slightly annoying; more so if it's just moi...being tech challenged :( Lol Taxloss. Save the whingeing for when we get to Cyprus - when we're allowed that is - and find Harry House. The two (travel and absolute peak whinge) should coincide around early July. I have started on a placard, and some missiles to go with the sling shot ;) Topicel | topicel
15/4/2021 10:18 | Sorry peverill but imho you are wrong on all counts. Firstly, the company has spent £70m & 15 years getting to this point. It has ALL licenses and the green light to proceed on a $300m USD mine project and once completed legal/financials are done will be granted c1,100km2 EL licenses to boot. Once built and operational the mine will be Ethiopia's BIGGEST single export (hard currency) asset...but vision is to have Many miners operating in EG...so only an exceptional stupid government would try to steal the asset at this stage...asp Kefi is being super generous on local engagement and government (both federa and local) will have skin in the game | belfastboyo
15/4/2021 09:52 | estseon15 Apr '21 - 10:34 - 11836 of 11836 0 0 0 taxloss, you are in danger of losing your 'chief whinger' title :-) I'm doing the best I can, believe me, but whingeing is a young man's game & these young whippersnappers manage it effortlessly. You know who you are. ;-) I'm seriously considering getting taxlossjules, my other half, to come on this board. If you think that I can whinge ...... :-( | taxlosstone
15/4/2021 09:49 | The gold price is close to where it was mid-June 2020. Will we see a repeat of last year with a climb to over $2,000? Perhaps it is repeating the start of the upward trend? Once it got going, from mid-July, it climbed about $230 in 3 weeks or so. If it repeats that now, 1 month of more hesitant appreciation would take us to mid-May and then whoosh for financial closure!! Fingers crossed. | estseon
15/4/2021 09:34 | taxloss, you are in danger of losing your 'chief whinger' title :-) Like riding a bucking stallion (I never have), eventually you gain control - your balls might be well and truly bruised by the process but there is reward at the end of it. | estseon
15/4/2021 09:07 | mesb, yes the financers names will be interesting, they're investing money and yet they're not financial institutions, banks or registered charities. When we know who they are, it might be reasonable to speculate on whether their interest in Kefi might eventually go beyond providing finance. One's ftse listed, and so, although it appears a well kept secret it's hard to believe that their identity isn't known in some circles | rich1e
15/4/2021 09:02 | And another thing. My post 11742 yesterday included the word concomitant & it still only received 6 upticks. And yes, I did have to use spellcheck. :-) | taxlosstone
15/4/2021 08:58 | Cool, I'm not smug at all but I do think we're in the right place with our money for good returns.....I too was in Nyota before Kefi....! | shortarm
15/4/2021 08:54 | I have been on these boards for 15 years. In that time I have filtered only 4 posters & made only one personal attack. I will not name names because I feel that a lot of us have been on this thread for many years, certainly longer than some expected, & that we are like a (dysfunctional) family. I think that we all have pompous members of our real families. ;-) | taxlosstone
15/4/2021 08:48 | Pension planner harry does actually answer most questions in his Q A sessions not going to answer all the emails sent to him as I expect he gets deluged with questions most of them asking the same thing or things. Most companies do not even have the quarterly webinar Q A sessions. The communication is not always that good here but was worse before the webinars. | robjm66 |
