Well Rob, Doris Day's ditty from the terraces applies and I'm sure it isn't just the Coronavirus that is stoking up safe haven buying of gold.

If it is adding value then so be it, little anyone can do to prevent folk making money out of misery, if that's what's coming. The over-reaction in oil price is more evident imho.

Anyway, ANS deciding the plaque of locusts might eat there Bhir if they got their wallet out is more of a worry to me right now... ;)

No one knows the terms of the subscription agreement with ANS - it could specify they have to make first payment during Jan, or it could give them a longer timescale. Hopefully, its the former, in which case I would expect it to reach us on the last day of this month. As has already been stated on here, you can get a decent rate of interest in Ethiopia (6 or 7%?) so there is no reason why the monies would be paid any earlier than that.

I find it amazing that there are still doubts over the ANS money. They are now contractually-bound "partners", it is there in black and white. The next news update we see will be far bigger than just "we received some money"; it is the trigger for multiple processes relating to the start of mine development, as stated above. The money itself may already have physically arrived, but given the number of ducks to get in a row the update itself may take a few days to put together. Personally, I would prefer that when it comes, it is detailed, extensive and company-making.

I think you'd be better off waiting until confirmation that ANS funding has been deposited before you post any more of your ramps.

Something is not quite right here, in my humble opinion. Gut feeling but based on past experiences.

#KEFI tried to move higher but stopped at 161.8% (1.90p) & closed the week inside the same lower levels I covered last week (1.40p & 1.62p). Extensions remain 1.74p & the biggie 1.90p. Above there it’s much thinner. Volume as ever will decide.

Ore top = 'From' depth corrected for slope, in meters
RVD = Rock value * thickness often used to assess mining worthwhileness
Needs multiplying by density to use in valuation

Monday is just a good day and makes sense to release good news first thing in the Morning. But Money is coming and it could be anytime next week. Its has been a very long journey and frustrating one . Finally we are heading towards the right direction.

100% agreed..
I was in Sydney on the 6th and the consensus was a few days to ensure all relevant parties were ready to commence, and then monies would follow/land within 15 days thereafter.
So.. that timeframe leads us to this week and there really cannot be any credible reason for delay.
This said, I’m not sure why everyone is saying ‘Monday’... it could foreseeably be mid week confirmation if monies start to roll on Monday?
It’s been a long journey for everyone (including the board) so a few more days is permissible.
One thing that is absolutely not permissible however is for ANS to conjure up a further reason for not paying.

Beju, thanks for the info. What i am trying to say is, today ANS would have completed all internal procedures, so would inform Harry " the money is ready to be released". Regardless, the money is coming and i expect the volume to be massive. Should be twice as much on what we got on Saudi news.

not entirely sure about your knowledge of banking.. but to give you some perspective;
1. Monies don’t get accounted for and move within the system on Sundays
2. Domestic bank to bank transfers don’t take four days
