02/11/2017 14:34 | I took profits at 107.5 yesterday. Leave some for the next man - but more importantly it's about the dividend cover. I've been caught before on high yield stocks. Good luck to all still in. | grahamite2
31/10/2017 17:07 | Goodness me, uncrossed at 107.5 | grahamite2
31/10/2017 17:00 | Looks like the closing auction price did the job, Skinny. Gap filled. Onwards and upwards. | lord gnome
31/10/2017 09:41 | Fill the gap! 28 November 2017 Interim results. | skinny
28/10/2017 10:40 | Have only been here 6 weeks but happy with the 8% so far +6% yield, what bank pays that. | cinoib
27/10/2017 22:48 | BlackRock seem to have a small short (although they tend to short just about everything): BlackRock Investment Management (UK) Limited 0.60% 2017-08-17 If they start to unwind it will create a short squeeze, boosting the price further. | septimus quaid
27/10/2017 19:52 | Um? KCOM reached roundabout 120p TWICE in 2016...... | grahamburn
27/10/2017 19:08 | Best of luck guys, this seems the first time you could sell above the £1 mark since the day I had bought these back in 2002..for a quid each...and they fell away time after time, and gave up..gl all. Oh I am not a holder now,so you're safe to invest... | abergele
27/10/2017 19:02 | I came damn close to doing the same on the basis of the lack of cover mentioned a while ago. I can't account for this unless someone knows something. | grahamite2
27/10/2017 17:35 | I sold too soon (: | toffeeman
27/10/2017 15:47 | Blimey up 3.50%! Interim results 28 November. | skinny
27/10/2017 12:16 | Moving up strongly today. Looks to have broken free of gravity at 100p. | lord gnome
04/10/2017 11:38 | If you are sitting on a few of these at 6% divi, dose it matter weather they go up a lot or not. with isa'a at 1.5 and bank at less than 1% I'll settle for 6% anydsy. | cinoib
03/10/2017 17:10 | Hopefully the traders who had set to sell out at 100 last time are already gone. | lord gnome
03/10/2017 17:05 | Will it hold 100 this try? | toffeeman
02/10/2017 12:13 | Peel Hunt Buy 98.13 150.00 150.00 Reiterates | skinny
13/9/2017 17:34 | It certainly came back down to earth with a thump yesterday. I was already looking forward to 120. Sigh.... dream on. | lord gnome
13/9/2017 08:54 | Does't want to go above 100 | toffeeman
08/9/2017 13:58 | It's inching upwards, so maybe there's some good news in the air. | arf dysg
01/9/2017 11:38 | My target is 7% a year total return. Anything above that is a bonus. On that measure this has been a great success for SQ. | rcturner2
01/9/2017 11:23 | Yep - point taken. | toffeeman
01/9/2017 10:53 | Don't forget dividend accumulation which puts you well above anything cash would have returned. Checking my records, also made a few bob on KCOM in a non-ISA account buying and selling (bought 2013 @ 85p, sold 2015 @ 118p). My definition of "great return" is not losing money! Hence why KCOM (to me) have been a nice steady away share. | septimus quaid
31/8/2017 20:48 | Hmmm - that's not a great return over 10 years - but better than a cash ISA :) | toffeeman
31/8/2017 19:08 | Toffeeman, I bought in two tranches: 2007 @ 75p and (mid) 2008 @ 43p Not a stellar performance by any means but, as above, I am happy with my present returns. With hindsight, the big buying opportunity was Nov 2008 (circa 11/12p!). At 99.75p, the present yield is 6.02%. | septimus quaid
31/8/2017 16:01 | Arf - then I close my short Sep, question: is has it given you a good return over 10 years? | toffeeman |
